I received this email, and am a little skeptical. I left the Senators name out. Has anyone else received an email like this?

I just started blogging. I am just now understanding what the whole web 2.0 thing is all about. I put a post on my blog about a benefit dinner a local restaurant was having to raise money to donate to the families of victims involved in a school shooting. I don't know how the restaurant owner found out about my post, but he emailed me to thank me! I now understand the true power of blogging. I feel like a fish out of water, but I think the more I continue to blog, the more comfortable I will feel.  I have a great deal of respect for successful bloggers!
