10 Weeks to Online Dominance????

By: Cal Griffin

Hello My Relieber Buddies...I am looking at taking the New Michael Russer's "10 Weeks to Online Dominance Program" and I was wondering if anybody has taken this new course or one of his previous courses.  It was a toss up between this course and E Pro which is pumped by the NAR.  Any opinions or thoughts???

I have already learned sooo much form this group of rowdy Realtors.  Thanks again for the all the contributions that every one has made.  I go straight to the Relieb blog every morning to see my bright eyed bushy tail new friends.

 Make this a Great Week!

I haven't personally taken any of Russer's courses, but have heard *really* good things about them. He's been on a couple of Point2 teleconferences. I attended one, and it was excellent.

Be sure to check out the P2 "Agent Alliance" offers. He offers a Point2 discount... (in your online office go to "Approved Vendors" then "Partners")

Not sure who has the bushy tail here, lol or would admit it. I am taking E pro or trying to right now. I will look forward to you sharing any information that you learn from the other course if you decide to go that route.

Jay, how are you studying for your Brokers and still able to come here. I had to shut EVERYTHING off for a week, stay in a motel just to concentrate. ?

The broker's licensing classes here are six weeks long Mary. I can't shut down for that long.

I don't really "study", never have, even in college. I just sit in class and absorb. I'll probably "cram" for a couple of days before the state exam.

Cal - Based on the title, I would think that Russer's course is geared more towards getting a site optimized and then utilizing the results whereas ePro covers a much broader range with your website only a small portion of it. When I started the ePro course we were taking a lot of 'field trips' looking at other sites and answering questions about them. If I had a choice I would take the ePro course and read up on SEO from various sources including Lonn's eBook which he posted over a period of time on this forum. You will be respected for the ePro designation and receive referrals from other ePros along with many other benefits. Dominating in 10 weeks will be difficult no matter which one you choose but I love your enthusiasm.

We ALWAYS go first to the ePROs when looking for a referral agent, if there isn't one we already know. So I totally agree with Gene, it's good for your 'Q rating'.

Interesting Candice. I don't have an ePro designation, but I think I'm pretty "e savvy". Why limit yourself to a particular designation?

By the way, you "know" an agent in Phoenix, e-Pro or not, so we know who you'll send Phoenix referrals to. Don't we?  :)

I second what Gene (and Jay) said. I have heard Michael Russer speak several times and he's very good. My impression is that his course is specialized towards site optimization.

The e-PRO course is a broader overview, and can really help fill in the blanks for you. Their Tech Audit which helps you figure out what you have already so you can determine what is underused and where you may need to add or upgrade, and the Technology Plan of Action were especially useful. I would have made some different choices and saved money had I taken it sooner. In fact, I probably need to go through that process again.

Regret cannot comment on Russer program.   I know ePros who got the designation but still don't know anything about web sites, email, or blogging.  But I guess that can be said about any program...

Jay, we go to the ePROs FIRST when we don't have personal knowledge of an agent in [the area]. There's a little added assurance for us in there.

You can be certain that you and your lovely wife will get my Phx referrals. The fact that you're a friend of Todd T is also a plus. He's one of my favorite people up in Kg!

Cal, and others: if you contact me, I'll send you a special order form that will allow you to get the $297 discount price.

Beth and Gene, Russer's classes are NOT all all about search engine optimization (SEO) or about technology. SEO is about getting people to a web site. Russer's class are about keeping and engaging visitors once they get there and converting them to clients. Neither is the course technology-oriented; it's almost purely about creating a successful online marketing strategy.

Michael's primary focus is on:

-- targeting one or more niche audiences

-- Creating a web site that will engage the interest of people within that audience by marketing yourself as a specialist in your audience's area of interest

--Creating a successful online brand

--Working effectively with Internet consumers (for example, he will give you scripts to use as email responses to leads from your web site).

The new version of Michael's course is self-directed online video supplemented with teleconference Q&A sessions. I don't have the outline for the class in its new video format, but can send anyone who wants it a pdf file of an outline of its predecessor, his 10 week Clicks to Closes course.
