There are a lot of things that catch on as slogans and some that don’t last that long. “Where’s the beef” and “I can’t believe that is butter” are two that come to mind. I think that the reason they stick is not so much the catchy phrase but the repetitive nature that got them their recognition.
”The market is bad” is another of those phrases that could gain that recognition if we don’t blog our way to the turn around. The news media will not help, it is up to us to point out that prices are at the bottom and now is the time!
As professionals we have a duty to get the message out. We have a responsibility to let the market know the timing is right. Interest rate are low, prices are low, and there is nothing left to the formula other than the ability to miss the market.
So I can’t believe it is butter is the same as I can’t believe you want to wait until the market move up!
