You are SOOOOOOOOOOOOO right!  I have a property on EBay now, that has been through 3 agents/firms and right now I have TWO solid buyers looking at the house AFTER they found it on EBAY!!

It is a DEAL!

Hi John

Great going on that one..!!!

That ad you see here is a $200 buckaroo one but it has the bells and whistles to go along with it also, I just put in on a few hours ago,

I like to use the hit counter and make it visible  Ya hit after hit its like a magnet.

The web site exposure alone is worth it even if you had no listings

You wont get that from the real estate books for that price, and it also gives  Point 2 some freebie advertising and in turn filters down to all members.

Vance, I haven't had much luck on Ebay here in Idaho.  I'm guessing cause we are more rural.  But I have sold several properties on Backpage & Craigslist.  Maybe I just need some help on advertising on Ebay.  My mom does quite well selling antiques on Ebay. Though that  may be a different kind of market?  What is interesting to me is that almost all of my out of state buyers come from the Internet, and most of them found me through other than expected channels.  Some of the names of the search engines, I have never heard of.

Hi Nate

Most of mine come direct by either e mail or by phone, E  Bay has helped me in Florida big time  with a $594k riverfront condo in Titusville FL that was credited to e bay at that time from an ebayer member who purchased the property and leads on other properties located in FL.

This is the first Georgia listing I am doing with e bay, but as you may have seen I put both web site links into the ad, since that listing is on both sites.

So this will be a good test as to how things go in a shall I say a Soft market.

It's I always said, a person who does not advertise sooner will have to..

that ad will be  the first and last ad, and will be a G.O.B

Vance, I can't argue with success. I am glad it is working for you. There may be a common thread on the type of buyer looking in Florida and the Poconos that draws them to EBay. I don't know. But, I do know this: there are more RE Agents out there than prostitutes. Therefore, it is my guess that there are more web sites selling real estate than porn. Craig's List, EBay, your local MLS = a market place for everyone. ;-)

Greg, I don't get that many propositions from porn sites, trying to convince me to buy, sell, or trade.

But I think you are right on about the RE Agents, of course "I R 1" ;) and so are you ;)

Nate, the only propositions I'm getting are from vendors trying to sell me advertising space, pens, post cards, web sites, leads, coaching and seminars.  I'm sure I didn't cover them all, but you get the idea. Agents are cash cows to their brokers, boards, state and apparently everyone who has sells something.

I may B 1, but I'm a broke 1. Hope things r better 4 u.
