Change, Just What We Need More Change

 Haven't We Had Enough Of Change ? 2006 Was The Last Change

We already had change and now we need more? Every 4 years we need change and we get it all right

George Bush has been in office for 7 1/2 years. The first six of those years the economy was fine.

A little over a year and a half ago:
1) Consumer confidence stood at a 2 1/2 year high;
2) Regular gasoline sold for $2.09 a gallon; &  the unemployment rate
Was 4.5%.

 The DOW JONES hit a record high--14,000 +

 Americans were buying new cars, taking cruises, vacations over seas, living large!...

But Americans wanted 'CHANGE'! So, in 2006 they voted in a Democratic Congress
and we got 'CHANGE' all right. In the PAST YEAR:a do nothing congress a total waste of space

Consumer confidence has plummeted ;
 Gasoline is now over $4 a gallon
 Unemployment is up to 5% a 10% increase
 Americans have seen their home equity drop by $12 TRILLION DOLLARS & prices20still dropping;
 1% of American homes are in foreclosure.
  THE DOW is hovering around another low 11,100

$2.5 TRILLION DOLLARS HAS EVAPORATED FROM THEIR STOCKS, BONDS & MUTUAL
FUNDS INVESTMENT PORTFOLIOS!

YEP , IN 2006 AMERICA VOTED FOR CHANGE!...AND WE SURE  GOT IT!! .NOW Mr OBAMA,  CANDIDATE FOR PRESIDENT--AND THE POLLS SAY HE'S GONNA BE 'THE MAN'--CLAIMS HE'S GONNA REALLY GIVE US CHANGE!!....JUST HOW MUCH MORE 'CHANGE' DO YA THINK YOU CAN STAND???.

U.S. seizes Fannie and Freddie (09/07/2008
Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac just got more change today !

Can someone please point out one thing congress has done or passed a bill that was  good for America since 2006 ?

Four more years of this type of change ahead "God Help America"

Well, Vance. First I want to thank you for not blaming it all on Clinton. It has been great having a "uniter not a divider" in the Oval Office. But, I do want you to know that Congress created the new administrative arm at the beginning of this summer just to take over and over see the housing mess at Freddie and Fannie.

Why was there a bubble in the market to begin with - Maybe those past five and a half years have something to do with it?

Yes! Yes, we can. Yes - I want CHANGE!

More change to come Gregory (Slick Willie Clinton)

Politics and the Fannie Mae Piggy Bank

Franklin Raines, Jamie Gorelick, and some very cooked books.

On May 23, 2006, as a jury in Houston deliberated the case against top Enron executives Kenneth Lay and Jeffrey Skilling, a little-known regulatory agency in Washington, the Office of Federal Housing Enterprise Oversight (OFHEO), released a study with the dryly bureaucratic title “Report of the Special Examination of Fannie Mae.”

The document received far less attention than the news from Enron, but its conclusions were stunning. In meticulous detail, it outlined a culture of corruption at the Federal National Mortgage Association — better known as Fannie Mae — that rivals the most serious corporate scandals in recent years. In this case, however, the main players are Washington insiders — some of them prominent veterans of

the (slick Willie  Clinton administration) — and the scandal’s effects could ripple through Congress for years.

And you tie all this back to Clinton, the Democrats, liberals, the men on the moon? It sounds like you could use a good Lewinsky, buddy. But, be careful, I hear it may be illegal in the blue states - especially if you get it from the wrong gender.

Don't be afraid of change -embrace it. You might like it.

No I do not tie it back to Clinton, it goes back even further, besides he had his own problems back then trying to get, ahead !... and was a disgrace to this country...

Try the Carter administration! 18- 21% interest on homes ? gas crises, etc.

We had change even then, 20 some odd years later we still need change ?  and in 2012 we will need it again..

"We have no one to blame it on but ourselves....... We need to get it right !

You've got a good memory, Vance. Can you recall a guy that was called the teflon president? Remember how his vice president called his economic plan, "voodoo economics"? You don't think any of that may have had anything to do with the mess we have today; do you? Most of America doesn't know that he had almost put us at a nuclear war - they just know the Soviets blinked.

Hey, how about that other guy who released us from the "gold" standard and opened the doors to that country you mentioned in another post? He had some guy with a funny name - Sprio - or something like that. Deja Vu?

Of course not! We get what we deserve all right. Don't you think this guy looks like McCain?

Love you, Vance. Have a laugh and a great week.
