Okay guys, second blog here, so as I've been chatting with you all, I've been updating my website. I'm not the most saviest of website owners at all. I've been reading about website optimization and getting kinda mad at my rating dropping...continually. Now I'm not a competitive crazed person by any means, but when this first came about I was number 1 in Virginia. I'm down to 11 per this new index rating. Obviously I know there is work to be done on my website, I wouldn't be up at 11:30 Sunday night if not, and I try hard to keep it looking decent. So I went onto this meta tags analyzer. I figured it was just some free thing that would tell me how I was ranking for on different search engines and that is was computer generated etc. Is it possible there is a person on here actually reviewing it?? At first it said I had too many characters on this and that, pretty basic I thought. And then, I get to the keywords analysis, and its says "keyword relevancy to page content is terrible". I'm thinking WOW, did you have to hurt my feelings!! Has anyone tried one of these free analyzers? How are you choosing meta tags to make your website generate more exposure? I feel like I get a decent amount of leads off my site, more than anyone within our company, I have more listings than I want and a good amount of buyers consistantly. I've never been one to ask clients specifically how they reached me because I grew up in the area and know a lot of people, maybe that is a mistake and I should be asking?? Any thoughts?
