Saskatchewan, Canada  REPOST--ACCIDENTAL DELETION OF FIRST POST.

February 19, 2007

For immediate release:

Brendan King, CEO

Point2 Technologies Inc. ...

Point2, the leader in real estate website technology puts shivers into the spine of Realtor.com with its new NLS.  CEO, Alan Dalton, of Move, Inc., the parent company and 49% shareholder in Realtor.com . . .

Brendan King and Alan Dalton are great guys, but read on . . .

BRENDAN KING, LEFT ME A VOICE MAIL THIS MORNIING, SHOWING HIS LOVE FOR http://www.ilovepoint2.com/

Now that I have your attention, Al Block from Detroit did several things to try to win the " $100 Get The Word Out Campaign ".  But Jay Thompson and Mr. Tarvin are just kickin' his butt.

So what do you have to do to win this?

I purchased www.iLovePoint2.com to show my support and admoration.  Check it out.

All I have to say is you guys are lucky I'm going snowmobiling with my family this week and won't have the time create my online "devotional" or "love letter" honoring our beloved Point2.  So there is still a chance to get your hands on the coveted $100 (hope it is US Dollars) Broken Heart

BTW, how do you make snowmobiling tax deductible? . . .snowmobile with your clients. Beer

I've been out of town but I think your "luv" for the Point is truly heartwarming!  But seriously, is there somewhere that there is a list or a regular posting of who has won each day?  All I see is the quick memo in my office and since I've been gone I would like to see what else people have done besides just the one person daily.

This is probably more of a post for the point 2 staff but thought you might know.

I would think that Point2 has a copyright on the use of anything that appears to use their Point2 name just like any franchise controls the useage of their name in any URL. You might want to check this out before spending much time or money on the domain name.

I'm thinking the snow and cold has gone to your head!  I hate Point2 customer service or the lack thereof!  Issues only receive a cursory response that most of the time has nothing to do with the issue.  It takes me several attempts and several weeks to resolve issues.  If this wasn't what my broker wanted me to use....I'd be out of here!

Point2 has a long way to go to deserve such admoration!

I have had the opposite experience as you Donna.  Customer service from Point 2 has always been speedy and attentive.  One of them even called me on a Sunday with an issue I was having.  We have been with them for several years now and one painful change was the neighbourhood issue.  The neighbourhoods here on PEI were a mess in the beginning but the customer service staff worked closely with me to fix the problem and even gave me a free neighbourhood for a quarter for my assistance.

No bad experience yet.

LOL - I have no idea what Al's post is all about.  Must be an 'inside' story???

Donna, I am sorry to hear that you've had problems.  I have found P2 customer service to be the best of any company I've ever dealt with and am really surprised that you've had trouble... unless you have a standard site, maybe.  With professional and premium, Customer Service is just a phone call away and the folks that assist you are extremely polite and knowledgeable.  If they have to check on something they respond back very quickly.

If you have a free site, you are already getting far more than you are paying for.... no?

Sorry to see that your having problems Donna, but your post suggests you really don't want anythying to do with Point 2. That's a shame, I like many others have had excellent customer service since  I started with the free site and moved up to the Professional site.

My questions and concerns are usually answered within 24 hours and seldom take even a phone call.

I also think you have a smart broker who provides you with a free web site. Most brokers don't have the time energy or money to provide this to their salespeople.

I think this was simply Al's attempt at $100 for a simple $8.95 fee and just for fun. And Ron won again.

Point2 has always provided me with excellent customer service - even before they pushed their content to the edge of the net via Akamai.  Not a better service exists for the money.  I beseech any isolated complainers to name a better service.

From the horses mouth.  www.iLovePoint2.com is not just the purchase of a URL.  I've posted this URL on my 10,000 member MLS message board and also on Detroit Craigslist.  It is an easy to remember way for other agents to sign up to the Standard site.  Like me, I hoping they want to make the upgrade.  The Standard free website is awesome and served me well for a year or so.  As for the agent with the "bad customer" service, I guess the question is, would you give great customer service if you had to sell a house for free?  Point2 gives Standard members a killer Help Desk, User's Manual, and the ability to get email support--which is usually returned in less than 24 hours.  And it is still free!  So that is why   www.iLovePoint2.com

Al, you are so right about Point2 customer service and especially the quality service to the free accounts. I also started free and it was fine but when you want to take it to the next level, look at all we get. And i Love Point 2 also; thanks, Brendan, to you and your team.
