From "Let your fingers do the walking", to "Let your plate do the talking"
Thought it might be fun to share and see how clever we Realtors REALLY are!

Amy,
I gave the family some choices and Jan voted for EDREMAX. So in a few weeks you will see that plate in the church parking lot.

LOL Amy you may have actually found a topic not posted on before! (At least I haven't seen it in a year)
NXT WAV for my company, Next Wave
Before real estate, mine said PRAJNA7 which Prajna means (loosely translated) 'wisdom, grace, understanding' in Sanskrit. And the number 7 is my number.
NO ONE got it . . . everyone thought it said 'Piranha' like the man eating fish!
I'm kinda thinking about getting it back now . . . LOL
The plates on my Jeep are "GITLAND" (GETLAND was taken)
My plate has numbers and letters that I can't remember. I guess I have no vanity!
all three of our cars have just numbers ... I think? Which, of course I don't remember. The only license plate I ever remembered is what my parents had on their car when I was 4 - 10 years old ... KIA 79-00 ... see, still remember it! At least I can find the cars on the parking lots pretty easily. #1. My favorite Hyundai Accent seems to be the only one around that is a 3-door coupe and has a rear spoiler ... I'm pretend I'm a sporty girl! #2. Our Olds Silhouette, well, that one usually answers me as long as I'm within about 50 ft upon pressing the right button, and our #3. Dodge pick up truck, well, can't mistake that one ... we bought it at a Menards sale about 3 years ago ... has the Menards greenish-blueish color, the typical Menards rental truck roof racks and if you look at it in the sun, you can still see the remains of the name Menards on the side of it. This one was a real deal! You'd be surprised what you can find on sale in your local home improvement store :-).
I've thought a lot of times what to put on my license plate and decided to stick with the numbers. I don't want someone trying to read what it says so hard that they'll end up with their car kissing the rear of mine.
Amy, my plate indicates 9/08 which mean I have paid the annual property tax :( through next year. I couldn't tell you the actual letters and numbers.
I've had this plate since 1989. When I went to Peoria for my GRI final class (3rd) someone I met had it without the X's on the ends which gave me the idea to apply for it. Another local agent that I was good friends with was stopped at a red light next to me at one of our malls and we laughed about what the people in the cars behind us would be thinking since she was on my left and her plate was ILISTEM and mine said X SOLD X

I never put much value on Vanity plates until I decided it is a little bit of advertising in a subtle sort of way. (I really hate those big magnets Realtors used to use on the side of their cars...ok..some of them still do..personal preference I guess).
And...guess what?! I've actually sold homes off that license plate! From the car wash to the church parking lot, people see the 1CASA4U and ask me about it. VOILA...a new prospect!
Gene & Jay ...VERY creative! Love em!
Candice.. Prajna would be a great conversation starter.
ED..I'll be watching for that plate in the Church Lot!
Gary & Arnold~ Come on guys~ Let's get creative. I know you can do it! :)
PS Hey Michaela. I'm from Waukegan (lived there for my first 30 years! Nice ta meetcha!
Geno, that is very cool and the license plate frame is too!
There are pros and cons about vanity plates . . . but a license plate frame with phone or URL is cool and more easily interchangeable . . .
I have an LED frame that scrolls, with my URL and phone . . . it's only visible when I hit the brakes and clearest from about 15 feet behind it. Those were my biggest concerns when I got it -- wil someone rear end me trying to read it!
Now my biggest concern is, when people follow me are they trying to read it . . . or am I being stalked? LOL
I just got one that says BOLDTLNT
This would be for my website www.boldtalent.com
Michelle
Oh yikes! I think it is BLDTLNT
I hope no one thinks I am bald! ha!
Hey Michelle, I've known some pretty talented bald people so no worries either way! ;)
