Ava where are you located I am moving there! No seriously! I am in Florida and my activity comes in spurts....I have a week where I get lots of activity only to die down again. Tons of follow up, including phone calls, email etc.....I am not giving up!
We just had a Realtor fundraiser here in Palm Beach County. I was telling my fellow Realtors (no matter what company they are enlisted with now) that we can truly say we stuck it out because we are professionals not get rich quick people. So when the market turns around we can say we were "here for you"....

I am in Atlanta. It's not like it was last year, but the last two months were extermly slow, no showings. Now that I am getting calls on my listings I am pretty excited. Other agents in my area seem to be saying the same thing.
I believe in everything perservance is the key and we must perserve during this time. I also thing it's important to have a positive attitude. I believe all the "get rich quick" real estate agents are falling by the way side.

Hi Ava Lately it has come in spurts. It usually starts with a lot hits on the website, then some phone calls and finally the showing. In the last 10 days we have had 6 contracts on homes in the $600's. We will just have to hang in for the long term. Remember, you reap what you sow. Are sowing...fall is a great time to harvest! Yes, even with temperatures in the 'teens' and gas over 3 bucks. But just over. 3.04 for premium Thursday.
Gas prices seem to affect us, so if gas stays [public's perception of] lower, they will come. . . to get on the river before summer ends and to get moved before school starts.
I'm a little North of Atlanta and I have been busy most of the year. The past 2 weeks I have been so busy I don't even remember sleeping..I just hope it stays this way for some time.
Boston picked up last Fall and we have been very happy about it. There was a slight slow down about a month ago, but we are back again. Weather seems to affect our buyers. And in New England it can change in a flash. 90 one day and the 40 the next.

Ava, small town in Kansas. About 60 miles from Wichita. Wichita has slowed down like the rest of the country but we are either behind the times or ahead so my market is always different. It has been good. This will be my best year in business. Actually my 2nd year as Broker with most sales being both sides so it is good here. It does take a while to get established, it was like starting over when I went out on my own in alot of ways. But I'm pretty happy, hope things continue well for you.
