Is all this redundant syndication really helpful? Or are listings getting lost in the shuffle?

I am a firm believer in syndication.
I find most of my leads all come from either Craigslist, Google or Point2Homes.
Therefore, I syndicate with these services regularly.
I am also a big believer in mass Internet marketing.
I love classified flyers so I chose www.classifiedfylerads.com and www.iannex.net as my two main distribution channels. (other suggestions welcome)
But, here is the pickle...
All of these services are feeding into the same core group of listing services and search engines.
Is anyone other than me concerned that posting different variations of the same listing 20 times on the same service creating a lot of redundancy?
I will agree when people say "That's the point".
However, I know that going through 100 listings and finding 10 that are the same gives me less confidence in the service and more suspicion about the validity of the information.
Or am I off base here?

From a seller's view if they see all the marketing on the web then they will know you are doing your job. If the syndication wasn't working would all of us be at Point2? I think it is helping all of us.

I am finding some problems with some of our syndication.  Check out your listing on those sites.  I have found, no listing (no wonder there are no hits) & misinformation.  On some if you click on more information it does not take you back to our website, but to someone who has paid to be a member of that site.  I really don't want them advertising my listing to help someone else get the perspective buyer for it.  But if P2 puts it in what can we do?

The only ones I have not found problems with are point2homes, google, yahoo, craigslist and backpage.  And out of those the most hits are coming from point2homes, craigslist (must update weekly) and backpage.  Are you getting hits from the others?  Are you using the spotlight ads?

Jana

PS If you want to see who is advertising your listings, google the address...

Jana ... you can do a lot ... you can decide not to syndicate with the sites you don't want to be on.

I found out my listings completely disappeared from Trulia a few weeks ago. I had to go into Trulia itself and have them crawl my site for my listings as the P2 listings weren't showing up at all.
