Will a Port-A-Potty be an effective billboard?

Always looking for a new way to mix a little humor into our advertising, we have decided to sponsor three portable restrooms at the next neighborhood parade event.
The parade is a gay pride event and, as the day progresses onward, generally moves from lighthearted festive function to hardcore drinking and partying event.
Not to be left out, we are generally smack-dab in the thick of it!Party!!!
Figuring people will need something to look at as they stand cross-legged and hopping up and down on one leg  waiting in a line 30 deep for a "comfort station", the event organizers have allowed station sponsors to post advertisements on the the station doors.
After much though, we decided our ad's would be a three separate views of flowing waterfalls with our domain name at the top. Seeing three of these things in a row will leave the standees little to look at while they wait patiently.
While they look at the water....
The flowing water...
The large volume of endlessly flowing water....
Imagining the sound of the flowing water........
While they stand there....
Helpless until their turn comes.....

Hmmm...if they are in that much pain whilst waiting their turn, perhaps they will be mad because you didn't sponsor enough potties!

Oh, I see the possiblities, Brian. "Need a House with More bathrooms? Ask4Greg.com Need a bigger house? Or, advertise the clients home on the inside. There is nothing to read in there. Not that I have ever wanted to, but hey, some people must be reading something in there because we all had to stand in that line. I wonder if my clients would mine?

Brian,

Although my instincts tell me not to touch that one  -  what the hell.  Why the f... not?  Advertising is advertising.

I like Gregory's idea.  Why not maximize your advertising exposure and wallpaper the inside walls with listing fliers?

I am just surprised a personal injury attorney did not buy that space before you had the chance :) They advertise everywhere here in Dallas.

Have you considered dressing in drag for this event, say Judy Garland's outfit from the Wizard of OZ? Just Click your red heels together saying, "There's no place like home, there's no place like home!" and then convince them to let you buy or sell a "home" for them. The line outside your porta potty would be, well....."location, location, location" on that day :)

Bill,

If Judy Garland were here today, she would be clicking her heels three times saying" I don't have a place to call home."

I thought the favorite among drags was Streisand?

Hmmm...since the general public's perception of us Realtors, is that we are piss poor and sh*tty.  I think it's a fabulous idea!

Don't let them just "imagine" the sound, play one of those soothing mood cd's of the waves gently lapping the shore!

I think you should go for it!

These are all great suggestions.

We tried to get the event organizers to let us put stuff inside but they said no. We wanted to do magazines like GQ, The Advocate and what not. Then we wanted to do listings - they said no.

We talked about running a waterfall soundrack -they said no.

Judy is dead - let her be. Barbara has her own problems with that son of hers and his high exposure antics in Chelsea.

Greg I hadn't thought of your spin on it. I think maybe I can work that somehow...

What... you wanted to stage your one room efficiency?

I saw a sign on a bathroom wall that read, "for a good time at home, call Brian"  it had a 312 area code next to it. Oh yeah there was a picture of a mushroom scribbled below it.   Was that you?

Brian, there are limitless tag lines you could use on this.

"Work with a realtor who understands your "needs".

"We are Johnny on the spot with your real estate needs"

"This comfort station brought to you by...........Realty"

"When have time to think about real estate, think of us"

"People are lining up to use our services."

Come on guys, let's come up with more lines Brian could use, you know you wanna......

Stephan started it.
