Hi Barb... and Happy Valentines Day!!

"The Secret" is amazing... and I highly recommend it to anyone reading this to witness themselves.  It's wonderful to see this film made at this stage of my life... it confirms all the beliefs that I have intuitively believed and practiced all of my life... I taught my children... and now they have "The Secret" to help teach their children.

The bottom line is... either you "get it" or you "don't".  I was tickled to see the teachers of "The Secret" on OPRAH recently... she was thrilled to now learn "The Secret" too... however, I believe she has known it all along ;)

Barb... you will need to buy the CD... it costs so little... and they send it out right away.  You will have the "captioning" choices that will allow you to "hear" it.  They used really cool sound techniques that I believe you would get some benefit from... the base tones reverberate to the bones if you turn the sound up ;))

In a nutshell, "The Secret" is about the law of attraction. What we think about is what we attract. Think it and it will come. You can apply this to any aspect of your life. It is not a new message, but it's a good reminder that your attitude and outlook on life has a direct effect on your results.

For instance, if you're heavily in debt you shouldn't focus on your debt because you'll attract more debt. Instead, focus on money rolling in, sitting at the closing table and getting that check handed to you! Imagine feelings of comfort and security.

The Secret gave me an attitude adjustment. The main take away I got from it is to rephrase my internal messages. Instead of focusing on what will happen if my business tanks this year and how I'll borrow more money to stay afloat, I make a point to have that little talk with myself each day that I am successful, people like to do business with me, I will have plenty of money to live comfortably. Focus on what you want and the universe will bring it to you.

Another message from the movie is the concept of gratitude. We all need to make that list of what we're grateful for and remind ourselves every day of those things. You're already there because in your post, you recognize that although you're deaf, you can see, breath and walk. That's fantastic! Keep reminding yourself of those things.

The Secret doesn't have to be about financial gain, you can apply this to your health, hapiness and love life. Hope this helps!

The Secret was on Oprah last week and it's on again today.

And there is also a book.  I suggest you buy it so you can get the full advantage of it.  You should be able to find it on Amazon.

A couple of months ago someone told me about "The Secret" and shared the DVD with me.  It is really incredible.  I'm planning to watch Oprah this evening (it's on here twice a day) because I've heard it's a second show about "The Secret."  

It really changes your thinking!  I am a Christian, and I find it fits right into my life and my Christianity.  They talk about 3 steps to having the life you desire:  1.  ask  2.  believe  3.  receive.

They mentioned a website on Oprah where you can purchase the book and the DVD.  I think you can also go to Oprah's website and probably buy a copy of her shows about "The Secret", too.

Let me know if you can't find the websites, as I'll be paying attention to them tonight in case you need them.
