My wife and I are having a baby and we just had the ultrasound a week ago and found out it is a BOY!

The way your post is written, Barb, it could be taken that you viewed the purple post 885 times yourself...that made ME smile.  Thanks for asking us to think about it...I'm always happy.  I'm kind of a la dee da kind of person "oh, that went wrong?  Let's just fix it."  No worries!

I'm still happy about purple because it's the colour of a big, creepy, annoying dinosaur that makes my daughter giggle every day :)

Ok Barb, happy thought much needed. I have a buyer looking at the bldg behind my office I have been kinda sorta trying to sell. And she is thinking of putting in a quilt shop. I am so excited. The sell and a quilt shop.

Thanks for a postive post. I remember when Relib was a fun place and we all encouraged and helped each other.

I am happy that one of my listings sold today, and I have a bite on another, and a real buyer I am working with... I am a happy camper really!!

I woke up this morning and found out I was STILL alive.  (that makes me happy)

Sometimes it is the very simple and basic things we need to look at.  Once awake (alive) I could then work my real estate things.  I could also look to the sky and be thankful that most everything was well in the universe.  

It is a tight market everywhere.  Some folks live to close a 100k deal while others of us are looking at 1M deals.  It matters not the level of sales in your neighborhood, it is the way you approach them.   When you get into your car tomorrow morning think back that you woke up alive, be happy, be up and this WILL transend to the people that you are dealing with.

Don't forget to give them your business card...

I had a great day! I was out going up to fsbo's and I spoke with an older gent who was in his front yard. As I walked up to him he was quick to say "if your a realtor i'm not selling" so I said to him smiling " yes I am a realtor but I just wanted to talk to you about my show" I told him who I was and he said "your that guy" we talked for a while and ended up listing his home. I do love talking and helping people...

Happy happy day, sold husband's un-used truck, cash, on Craigslist! Love it. He hasn't driven it in months..so getting it off of the payroll is a very good thing! Yeah, today!

Oh Barb don't let it get you down!  I love to read about your solutions and ideas that you freely share with the rest of us!  I am Happy to know that there is a place where we can share, laugh, and cry and make terrific friends.  We all have a common denominator, Real Estate.  So who better to understand our frustrations, complaints, joys and fears then each other.  And think how many marriages and relationships we are saving by having a place to vent too!

Joe, that is the best news. Congratulations! If I knew fatherhood was so much fun, I would have done it sooner and with more. I guess I should tell my son that more. But, that's what makes me happy; my wife and son.

We've had such beautiful weather here that I've just been trying to enjoy it!  Little things fill me with joy.  Getting emails from friends with links to newspaper articles mentioning my daughter by name as a standout on her Varsity team.  Getting random hugs and kisses from two teenagers who are supposed to be PITAs but still seem to be hanging in there on the "good kid" side.  Receiving an email from a potential Buyer on my site that was so complimentary, it knocked me off my feet!  She's now a bonafide, preapproved and active Buyer.  Seeing pictures of newborn grandchildren of my friends.  

And odd as it sounds, being able to comfort friends when things aren't going so well for them.  I consider it a privilege that they would be willing to share their grief with me.  I also get a nice jolt when someone says kind words about me in their blog (thanks)!

Here in Georgia, we are finally getting some rain!  Yaaaaay!  My family and I all woke up above ground ;)  

Every day, something makes me happy. It's always something! ;)

Hi Larry, she forget me too!!  I know, I know, it was not intended, I hope. Barb knowing that you Dad is doing much better I'm sure brings you a measure of happiness, so I'm happy for you.  Happiness comes from giving so give him all the love that you can give and I'm sure that will make him happy as well.

I forgot my favorite song of late........It makes me smile, dance in the driver's seat and embarrass my daughter as we pull into school every day.  She finds it somewhat odd that her "old" mother listens to "her" music!
