Thinking about thinking...

Being chastised by “Anon”.

By: John Bourassa
Tuesday, April 24, 2007 11:10 PM

I believe that the main spirit of blogging is to amicably exchange opinions pertinent to a subject matter.

A couple of days ago I posted a blog titled "Blog Addiction". I knew that my comment was going to stir up some reactions - and it did. I certainly appreciate the great responses I received.

However, Anon, an anonymous guest was more interested to rub my nose on a typo error (I spelled "important", "improtant") than commenting on my topic.

I do admit that I have dyslexia of the fingers but such criticism coming from someone who shields himself/herself behind anonymity is the lowest form of cowardice.

By-the-way, Anon, your syntax is less than perfect. But since you proclaim to be an authority on spelling, tell me: Is there a hyphen between *** and Head?

My name is John Bourassa. I am a Realtor in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Anonymous commenters tend to be gutless cowards. If someone doesn't have the courage to back up their opinion with an identity, then their opinons don't really matter.

John - Pay no attention to ****-heads like that. They are the same with or without a hyphen. Typo police need a life!

I am always amazed at the way some people read these blogs. It is like they are looking for a fight. Don't they get enought aggravation in their day to day job to get their fill.

This is a great place to vent frustrations with clients and customers and the things we have to deal with in this profession. Spelling and grammar are ignored by the bulk of us because we are thinking out loud and not concentrating on the delivery.

Lets cut each other some slack, sometimes the misspelled words are plain funny. Not a biggy in my book, of course the fights can be entertaining but they are non-productive. Let's go sell something today.

That's why a lot of us blurk instead of blog.  For some reason whenever you blog about "Blog Addiction"  it brings out the bloxer in some.

The information that comes from this group is priceless.  And I agree John,  you should be able to exchange ideas and not be chastised for something as common place as deslexia of the fingers,  which most of us have suffered from at one time or another.

This is the first time I have read any of these and I have to admit, I have wasted time when I could have been enjoying all of you!

You have created another addiction for me and I will be joining all of these forums and blogs.

Thank You!
