Hi Everyone
I’m one of the lurkers who read your posts regularly and benefit from all the great info shared here. I really appreciate all the sage wisdom everyone freely shares in this forum. You have saved me a lot of money and frustration with your advice on lead generating scams etc. Thank You.
I retired after a 35 year career in IT and the Nuclear Industry and got my Missouri RE Brokers license in May of 2006 and have been learning the business as a Broker-Sales Associate for the last year and half. I do not consider myself a salesman or want to be for that matter. I just enjoy being a facilitator and helping people achieve the American dream of owning their own home. And I thank God I do not have to live on what I am making as a REALTOR® right now. I have made enough to cover all my expenses and have a little left over but my wife says I do not have a business, just a hobby so I guess it is time to get serious about my business and invest some of the marketing dollars I put in my business plan.
I am starting to see results from my P2 web site and want to do some personal marketing in the local area to gain some recognition and try to establish my own brand. Is anyone using a Personal Marketing Brochure such as Hobbs-Herder offers?

If so does it produce results and is it worth the investment or is this just another waste of marketing dollars?
I welcome any other advice on personal marketing.
Thanks again for sharing
Tom
