Has anyone started a link exchange, just with Point2 Agents only?
Thanks
Charlie
Personally, I would not recommend it. P2 already is placing random links at the bottom of your site (which you can disable). Yahoo has placed a 'penalty' (not a ban) on Advanced Access sites due to their reciprocal linking amongst themselves. Although it was strictly voluntary, Yahoo looked at it as though AA was doing it since they designed a full set of blank State pages for the agents to use. Since we are all on the same ISP, similar to what AA is, P2 could end up the same type of penalty if we all start a massive P2 inter-linking program. Besides that, Google is also starting to take a harder look at link pages that appear to be nothing but a directory. You are much better off adding quality content to all of your pages and if you do add links, try to find LOCAL authoratative links that are community related.

There is a discussion going on about this on the forum. Interlinking with ONLY P2 sites just isn't a good idea.
As a webmaster, seek out GOOD links from agents around the country regardless of their affiliation or their web host!
I was under the impression that link exchanging is no longer important. Am I wrong?
If so, do I just ask specific people if they would like to link with me?
Then I would need to know HOW to create the link, but that is another story!

I will be glad to exchange links with folks. I am not hosting on a point2 server so no worries there.

The "directory" is still a work in progress; right now you may get a link on some other textally relevant page.

Here's a second try at my links page (see above)
If this doesn't work, just type in my URL plus the backslash and "links"
