Carol, yes I have used it for years, not sure what version I have now but I like it.

I couldn't live without it!  I create most of my marketing pieces using this software.  I rarely even use Word any more.  You have so much more control over everything on the page with Publisher.  I love it!!

I too have used publisher for years.  I have been through many versions.  I have the 2003 professional version.  I rarely use word, almost always use publisher.  Great for shrinking pictures, changing formats, etc.  Wish we could cut and past the copy from publisher into drip mail, pictures and all!!  Wouldn't that be nice?  I anyone have discovered how to do this, I would love to know.  

I think it's great software  you can do alot with it.  

I have tried publisher 2007 and liked it but I prefer 2003 version.  It has the same features but just in a different format.  

With the 2007 version, you can send out a document as an email.  So perhaps it can do what you want, Barbara!

I love Publisher. It can be as easy or complex as you want it to be, and it's simple to create great looking documents of any type. I've used it to create tri-fold brochures, listing flyers, open house flyers, business cards, postcards, you name it. I've tried several of the "real estate" programs out there, like the one for HP that's supposed to make great flyers and stuff, but Publisher is waaaaaayyyyyyyyy better!

Plus you can go to http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/templates/FX100595491033.aspx?pid=CL100632981033 and download free templates to get you started.  I work better if I have something to start with and build on.  And there aren't really any good real estate templates built into the program when you install it.

I have used Publisher for years and I absolutely love it. I create postcards, brochures, flyers, e-mails and ads. The only time I work with word is when My Broker sends me her templates to work from then I usually change over to Publisher. The online Templates are very nice to work with also.

Great software and very easy to use! In the past I have actually even used it to build a complete website.

I use Pub too all the time.  The only thing I dislike about it is it is layered application. So you have to be careful when trying to insert something close to something else as it is the same for the text in text boxes.

Beware of HP that advertises very heavily their real estate software program for $79.  It is nothing but MS Publisher with limitations.  They give you certain templates that you can tweak some and it is quite convoluting using pictures.
