Since becoming a P2 member and focusing on my website and trying to customize content, I'm feeling rather overwhelmed with information! Honestly, I know haven't even begun to tap the wealth of information out there. NAR, MAR, print media, online, etc. I find I have so much information I'm in a quandry about what to use as my primary resources. As has been said in other posts, Real Estate is Local, so I've begun focusing more on local information. I'm ashamed to say that to get on my state Realtor website I actually had to email them for my user ID and password! That's how long its been.
My home office looks like an explosion at a paper mill. I'm drowning in trade magazines, printed on-line articles, local statistics, etc., which I just can't seem to get through. I realize now that I missed an episode of Dancing With the Stars two weeks ago even though I was supposedly "watching" it! All the while getting listings and working prospects. I took some time this morning to think about where I'm spinning my wheels. I've come to the tentative conclusion that I'm on information overload. So, to the real point of this post......
What does the collective P2 braintrust use as its primary sources of information to increase your knowledge and customize your content so it doesn't read like everyone else's website? And, where do you find the time?
Thanks for any wisdom!
