Don't forget!

How much water do you drink per day? Coffee, soft drinks, etc do not count. Just plain old H20.

You should be getting in at least half a gallon a day.

Did you know that most people are dehydrated?

Also, caffeine and alcohol are diuretic, so for every cup or beer you need to DOUBLE your water intake.

You will do better and feel better not to mention looking better if you drink more water!

Also, your skin, hair and energy will bless you. Grab a Dasani or whatever and let's toast to eternal youth!

We'll hit the harder stuff later. . . TGIF!

Candice I try and stay away from that diuretic vodka, I like the high test. I once had a diuretic coke and it tasted different.

That 2-1 ratio is going to keep me in the rest room forever. Does ice count?

Great post Candice! I love water. I can't get enough it, especially this time of year. We work hard to help other people, sometimes we forget to take care of ourselves. Water will lift your spirits. Thanks for the reminder.

I think nothing tastes better than a nice cold drink of water... And I spend a lot of time testing other drinks just to continue to prove that to myself.  My search for knowledge will now begin, again....  Happy Hour Friday!

Does anyone here buy that expensive FIJI water?  You know with the square bottle?  I heard it is a status symbol, and folks buy one and then refill it and carry it around.  Radley, do you do that?

Fiji water is OK but don't drink the one in the hotel because they'll charge you like 6 bucks for it.

Shelly, one of my agents has a machine that makes perfectly PH balanced filtered water, called Kangen water. (I think) It's supposed to regrow your hair . . . LOL every time she comes in she makes me look at her eyelashes . . . I'm like you could just get implants for 3500 bucks you dingbat . . .

I've been drinking walmart water all week.  And then refillling at the "happiest place on earth's" water fountains!!

Tip:  freeze your water and take it with you.  It stays with ice in it for about 5 hours!!  and you can refill with the core of ice.  Keeps your water cold for hours without having to pay the Mouse for more.

Implants versus Kangen Water....  I am weighing the options... and since I hate folks to touch my eyes, I'll go with the kangen.  Let me know if the dingbats eyelashes actually grow.  I may invest.  I have the smallest eyelashes known to womankind!!!  Really not fair when your husband has long, lush eyelashes over stunningly green eyes, and your son has longer, lusher eyelashes over the clearest blue eyes you have ever seen.  I could keep the kangen for me!!!Bwahhhaahaaa

She gave me a 5 gallon bottle of it, drank it for a few days (I drink tons of water) and noticed no difference. But any decent water is good for you.

sometime I only have a glass or two of water, well, actually I drink juice half & half with water,  ... but ideally ... when stocked up ... I drink about half a gallon of bottled mineral water ... something I grew up on ... a lot of the Polish stores around where we live sell our Czech mineral water ... the best kind I like is apple flavored Mattoni mineral water ... if you've never had it, here's a link http://www.mattoni.cz/english/standard_en/index.html

I always have a huge jug of water with me.  Our tap water is great so I don't have to buy it!  I can understand buying water if your water supply is not a good one but I just don't get paying for something that is free and good for you?

Oregon just passed a law that will require all bottled water vendors to disclose the source of their water on the bottle.  So much of the "local" bottled water is basically from the same tap as my house.

Also, we're now FINALLY requiring those vendors to pay a recycling fee for all water bottles (a return-fee at recycling centers).  They were excluded from the original law and end up in landfills.

We're trying...

The water I mentioned above is fortunatelly not coming from just any taps ... the brands we like to drink come from real natural springs, in most cases from spa towns that have been known for centuries to have springs with different healing effects. Never thought about it before ... but growin up drinking the natural healing spring water (sometimes lightly carbonated, sometimes not) as opposed to drinking sodas full of sugar (a normal standard around here as we all know) ... I'd say I had a pretty healthy start the first 20 years of my life or so!
