Today when I did the "my town" Real estate search I ranked 27. Now for some that does not sound like much but after 4 months on being in the sandbox it is a huge relief. 

Now if I can just close my first deal. Who know I might this weekend.

The P2 blog post just don't seem to be coming up on Google. The Active Rain (AR) blog post seem to dominate Google. I wrote a blog on Salt Spring condos on AR and it was 1st on Google.

Do the AR blogs just get crawled faster than P2 or do they get ranked better?

Is there a reason AR just seems to work better or is it just my post? I have checked my tags and worked on editing my p2 post to maximize their effect.

Is it the fact that there are more bloggers on AR and they seem to get better blog post not just "open house".

It was intresting to watch. I thought if a Reator was sitting there who would stop and talk....hum... what about if I make my dog Rex an assistant. I can write the web page from his views. I can talk about me the good and bad.

It is a serious marketing Ideal. I hope P2 does not turn off Rex's page. It could be a very powerfull ideal. Have a look at the start of Rex's page.

It seem to me that 80% of the p2 blog post are "open house on Sunday" but the other post that... lets say more interesting don't seem to be using tags right.

How are tags to be used? I think I know but maybe not.

PS It is only my first week blogging and have one new customer from active rain blog.

if you don't post on Reliberatin you are missing out on points and going to have a lower P2 ranking.

I find that Active Rain has a very transparent point system and P2 has the opposite system of not exactly telling how the points or ranking is made up. There are 40 odd things that are calculated. It would be nice to see the list of all 40. I look at the web sites of people ahead of me and they are all stock pages with very little original content.
