Hi everyone, I have had my site for 4months I have had one prospect from another state. I'm in PA she came from NJ I showed here 4 homes she still looks but no bites yet. I mus be doing something wrong or not doing something that needs to get done. I advertise some but no luck yet. I have a professional site and have the Pocono mtn MLS attached still not much action I'm open for sugestions.  

Great to hear you are having success with your site. I was using the standard site for 3 years and hadn;t had any success since I quit Adwords a couple of years ago. Since upgraded to Pro I have closed 2 deals from prospects (one buy, one list) who found me online and I just listed another.

I've been on P2 for some 3-4 years now, and over this time, I've connected with some some wonderful clients and done some serious real estate transactions as a result.

I get call all the time from other sites and I tell them to go pound sand!

Thanks for the positive post. I am convinced that attitude is everything!  

I just joined the Pro level and am still learning all the upgrades to take my site to the next level.

I have a question for those who have been in the community longer than I: How do you recommend handshakes be treated with agents outside of your selling area? If I approve them does anything happen with my listings? Will I see Mass on my listings in Florida?

I have been with p2a for approx. 2months.  My web site is a work in progress. I try to look at each of your websites, I always find a way to improve by site by looking at your sites. Thanks for the ideas ahead of time.

Hi all,

I've been around for a bit, but have just upgraded to Pro. as of today.

Can't really speak about the results of the Pro (as I said I only upgraded today ), but the regular site responded to yahoo advertising.

Any suggestions anyone has would be greately appreciated

I've had my P2 account for 2-3 months and its a work in progress. But I did recieve and email and she's not even in the US, she was from Spain and is planning a trip to purchase in my area and was interested in one of my listings. I nearly fell over when I got my email. I couldn't believe it. It works!!

Gary, Now all you need to do is find the right home for your real estate career. I wish you were in my area, I would save you from your plight, and ask you to join my team. You do need to change your brokerage. Thanks for being here. And great post.

I have made a lot of money from my web site. Not going to quote, but a lot. You need to also advertise your web page in other areas.

Look at all the new faces (like I am such an old one LOL)  P2 is great and don't feel bad if you are still working on your site.  So am I!  I think it will always be a work in progress!  Relib is terrific too, sometimes I forget this is a blog and not the message boards.  I am learning so much new stuff each day!  Then can't wait to try it out on my website or in my business.  WARNING: You will become addicted!

For those of you that just went professional - good move by the way - check out the P2 tutorials.  It will help you move through the new stuff.  Then for inspiration check out other websites.  If there is something you like, make it your own, then use it on your website.   Make sure you make it your own, copy and paste is frowned upon.  You will have better web placement the more original your site is.

Here's a cool tip I just got, download google tool bar on your Internet Explorer and the spell check works on here!  Love it.

I have had a Pro site since late 2006 and have two closed sales as a direct result, plus two contracts that ended up dying.  One of those was from out of state.  I also have 4 to 6 decent prospects I consider good possiblities of turning into closed sales.

I just began blogging in earnest in the past week after reading REALTY BLOGGING by Natch & Chaney.  I recommend it.  I took their advice and started Blog Farming and it has already got my phone ringing.

My favorite story recently related by my client Linda Jefferson of GoArmyHomes.com: one of her agents took a rental inquiry by telephone from a military family in Germany who had visited GoArmyHomes.com.  The agent then worked her rear end off to convert them to buyers and sold the family a house sight unseen by emailing photos of every nook and cranny in the house to the family in Germany. The family was so please that they have told the agent that they are going to refer 200 more families who are being transferred from Germany to Fort Sill to the brokerage. Five of those families have already contacted her. That's a heck of a referral!
