I had posted earlier about sending receipe postcards to clients.  I went ahead and sent the first batch.  I send to my FSBO list as well.  I picked up the phone and called one of the FSBO's and asked if I could drop by to take some pictures of the property.  He was so excited to hear from me.  I dropped by and he said he received the post card and really liked it.  He has decided to list with me. He had several RE agents drop by and didn't tell him they were RE agents until they walked on the property.  One was very pushy and offered him $80,000. below his price and said I will give you 48 hours to decide to accept my offer and this is a one time offer.  He asked him to leave. 
I am not a pushy sales person and this has worked for me.  I will say I have lost several because I won't tell them what they want to hear either. 
Anyway long story short the Post cards worked for me.  I will be sending the another batch next week.
