I should have continued to say, what I do when I receive these calls on my business lines (cellphone or office), and it seems to work, is tell them I am not interested in their product, and ask that I be taken off their calling list.  I'd say 80% of the time, I do not hear back from them again.

I get a lot of them, too. Watch out for the ones that tell you they will get your website on the top ten listings in Google, Yahoo and MSN. I'm also getting Point 2 "preferred" vendors calling me now. AAAARG!

There is a gang with a Montana area code who are calling all over the US and tell you they have a buyer and they need an Agent in a certain area to send this invisible buyer to you for a referral fee.

These guys come and go in Montana as well with all the others who call

My system I use is very easy to use to get rid of the parasites from calling, the only thing is I can not publish what I tell them other then this part... Hello , yes this is Vance and please remember my number and Never Ever Blankety blank call it again,and if they do then I keep calling them until they give UP..

The other thing that gets me are the E mail brochures I get you know the ones ! over and over again I get the same one.

But the only ones I love are the ONES that have a list of 50 or so e mail address attached to them, this excites me, Now I have build up a Hugh e mail list for my Mass e mailing to all of them to knock it off,, ha ha see how they like it !!!

They never look at the DO NOT CALL LIST anyway. Tell them to send the $11,000 for the call to you ...they'll hang up in a hurry. Phil is right I think business to business is excluded...I've heard that before BUT my Direct Line is my Personal Line.

I've had that Montana group call me many times!  And when I ask to be taken off their call-list, they say there is not one; that each "caller" puts together call-lists by searching the internet.   I rarely take calls from area code 406 because of them.

I still report people who call my cellphone, even though it is a business line.  I just let them hash it out with the administrators that oversee the Do Not Call program.   Reporting abuse is free and if I can hassle those callers in return, perhaps they'll stop the practice.

On my home line, I get ZERO sales calls, so, for me the Do Not Call program really works!

I just love telemarketers and the like and found out that if you really play ruff with them they stop calling , and my reverse mass brochure e mail program is a success ha ha ha .......

Some even ask me to take them off my  list ha ha, not in this lifetime until they stop sending those e flyers, you see I have so many e mail address and get the same ones over and over .

Gloria nice to see you.  But you do need to check and see if you are still on the do no call list.  It expires and you have to renew every 5 years.  I started getting calls then realized it was that time again.
