More than doubled the number of Solds and Pendings each day on MLS

I am in South Carolina as well and in Hilton Head Island and Bluffton, Jan & Feb are extremely better than the last few years.  I just had clients from Point2 come down and they just bought a townhouse for $300,000 yesterday.  I am happy so far as my company hit 7 digits the second week in January and are looking to be in the 8 digits by the start of Spring.

I too have seen the market pick up.  I sell a lot of land listings, and finally we have some closed escrows.  Much better than the past few months.  The phone is again ringing, and a different type of buyer has emerged.

LOL, our market is picking up on the west coast as well.

What I'm curious of is your definition of spring.. Its in the mid 40*'s here near San Francisco with snow on the surrounding hills...lol

Come to think of it I see an increase in my traffic but we have snow on the ground here in NY. Real estate is here to stay ,enjoy the ride.

Our market is slowly gaining - we have quite a few new listings in our office and the phones and web visitors have increased.  Of course here in Cass County Missouri - it is still winter, expecting some snow tomorrow night.

The SW Florida market is rebounding and sales as well as leads are higher today than the same period 2005 and 2006. If we can keep it snowing in the North our stats will continue to rise. We love our friends in the North but I can tell the weather by the number of hits. If you have a snow day you could down a server. However, I want your weather to turn nice so you can sell some of those homes and people can buy where The Agents furnishes all snow removal- Free of Charge.

YES.... phones are ringing and people are getting the itch to buy again in the Central Florida market!  I have also gotten a lot of comments on the TV commercials that FAR & NAR developed. God knows we needed it since the local media has had a field day broadcasting "bubble busting" stories for the last year.  I think Associations did a great job on the "buyer market" message and easing the public’s fear in our area.

Hoping some of the weather that's helping most of you will happen upon Chicago area soon.  We're still snow-blanketed with plenty of icy driveways...phones picking up ever so slowly.  C'mon, Spring!
