I like active rain blog site it works well and gets immediate results on Google. The long tail tags work like a charm.

Blogger works well for my personal site. I post my newspaper articles their.

youtube is a great tie in for blogs and vids. On active rain I have been able to host my vidios clips on post.

I signed up for Naymz.com yesterday and it is all brought together and it is another good in bound link.

I also do the Active Rain thing. I usually dedicate about an hour a day.

Howard, just here, I am a one woman office and have all the business I can manage right now. I go here for inspiration, information, humor, comraderie and to see how the English language can be butchered, just kidding lol. Only here can you see fights break out for no reason..it is entertaining. Love this place.

98% of my blog writing time is spent on my blog.

The other 2% is spent here and on ActiveRain.

I do read a LOT of blogs, and comment on many.

For those concerned about not getting many views on your blog, a couple of things to note:

1) It takes time to build up a readership. Just this week my blog actually passed my web site in unique visitors per day. The blog is almost two years old.

2) If you have a Point2 blog, you can get huge search engine benefits for your web site even if *no one* ever reads it. Why? Because your P2 blog shares the same domain name as your P2 website. Every post you add to your P2 blog adds content to your P2 website. That is a beautiful thing!

Our web site gets about 350 unique visitors a day. The blog gets about 360. Between the two, that's 700ish unique visits a day. (Actually more like 670 as about 30 a day visit both). Not a huge number, but respectable. And enough traffic to generate a lot of prospects and clients.

Here it is more for entertaining and a learning experience.

My website blogs (2) and here.  I barely have time to do that.  I get many readers, but no comments and no customers so far from blogging.  I suppose my blogging is specifically for SEO purposes.
