Ok I just had to cut and paste this beauty....Is your city next? what say you?
ATLANTA (AP) -- Atlanta real estate agents who are trying to ride out the housing slump by selling foreclosures are getting more than they bargained for in some cases.
City officials are holding the agents liable for code violations on rundown properties they are selling.
But the agents, who are often selling the foreclosures for out-of-state institutions, say they're being singled out because they're easy targets.
City officials say they just want some of the blight cleaned up.
Several agents with similar properties have been taken to court over the past few weeks and some face fines in the thousands of dollars.
The Atlanta Board of Realtors has organized a meeting between some agents and the city to soothe some of the tensions.
