Another shot at realtors vs FSBO will be on the CBS NEWS with Katie Couric...watch out...they are looking to boost her ratings so I predict we will get a real hammering!!! I bet this is the topic of discussion on Tuesday!
We have no worries...noone watches Katie.
Even her predecessor says so. What was his name? Oh yeah, Dan Rather. I believe had caused significant damage to CBS' credibility a few years back.
There may be two old people from Biloxi watching.
I ran into Dan Rather on a flight from Houston to Austin, once. He's a really nice guy.
Katie who? She's not on Fox News, so she's meaningless in my book. I look forward to the commentary afterwards, though.
Yep, the film crew was down here interviewing all the fsbos that listed their house and sold it through me. Should be a good report.
But, alot of the tape ended up on the cutting room floor so it may be about fsbos somewhere else.
lol
I LOVE Dan Rather even though he did not go out in a blaze of glory. He still was warm and wonderful in a crisis. Katie However annoys me which is said b/c I liked her on the Today show. Now I have switched y morning time to Good Morning America.
Use agents always get the short end of the stick. If a FISBO can do it good for them. If they can't, and alot of them can't then we come into the picture. I have found FISBO's to be easy to work with. Got to give them credit for trying.
FISBO"S are people to. To bad use poor agents are not considered human.
I just missed the news. Good luck to poor Katie b/c she obviously needs it. She was even slamming herself the other day.
The good news is that it is CBS. Even if the ratings double that's what 4 people watching. However the bad news is the belief that if something is repeated (whether fact or not) on the nightly news, it is the way it is. Oh, wait, that was Dan's predecessor, Walter Cronkite.
Tony
Leave those poor old guys alone. They should have a mandatory retirement age for journalists.
Poor Dan and Walter just got a bit confused.
So... did anybody watch?
Guess not, Lonn!
Nope, I rarely watch the network news.
Apparently I'm not alone.
Searching CBSnews.com for recent reports on real estate yielded this:

It's actually not bad. Could have promoted using a Realtor more... but not bad... IMHO
Much better than the infamous Redfin infomercial...
