And I'm Free, I'm Free Fallin'

Hey all!  I very rarely post here but I was just too excited not to share this.  I just celebrated my 40th and the following link has a video.  It isn't the professional video that I had done but my little amateur video using Slideroll....I gotta tell you - if you ever, ever, EVER think of skydiving - DO IT!!  Now, however, i wish I had taken a sign up with me that said "You wanna buy a house?"

Wow, that's great Leesa!!!!

I did the same thing about 15 years ago!!! It was awesome!!!! And I talked my girlfriend into jumping with me the next weekend!

And she broke her leg in 3 places, got steel-pins and a permanent limp for her trouble.

After that, she stopped returning my calls..... At the time I thought she was over-reacting, but now...I don't know.

(This is a true story.)

Let me re-phrase that.....

If you ever, ever, EVER think about skydiving, JUST DO IT!

Unless, of course, you are Phil's girlfriend.

Phil, I am so so sorry to hear that - I hope that you have found another adventurous spirit with good health insurance!  :)

Leesa, wow, that must have been incredible. I fly with my husband as he has a small airplane. I never wanted to free fall but thought it would be cool to hang glide. Will I ever? Probably not.

Phil's ex probably thinks of him every day, at least.

Thanks, guys!  It was amazing!  Again, no words to use!  I always wanted to be an astronaut - think the price of a ticket will come down before my 50th?  Not joking, told my husband to top it in 10 years and get me ON THAT SHUTTLE!!!!  Hey, maybe I could stick a yard sign up at the space station?  Sell deeds on the moon?  Open house on MARS?  Dreamer, nothing but a dreamer.........

Wow Leesa!  That's what I was going to do on my 40th after having gone hot air ballooning for my 30th.  I just couldn't do it.  Congratulations!

Leesa, first off Happy Birthday!  I loved your slide show!  Even made me a bit dizzy so perhaps I will skip the real deal!  I planned on trying jumping off my ladder, but just couldn't do it.  So I will leave all that adventurous stuff to you 40 year olds!  :)

Hey Leesa!!!!

I failed to say that skydiving was, AND IS, the most thrilling thing that I have EVER done!!!!   I wouldn't trade it for all the tea in China.  I've participated in several extreme sports (rock climbing, repelling, scuba, skydiving and parasailing) and by FAR jumping out of an airplane is the biggest rush that I've EVER felt!!!!

But, 1 am finished with all that.  Actually, I'm TOO SCARED now!  Too many ramifications as I get older!   :o

I applaud you, Leesa!!!!   You are a warrior!!!!   You ROCK!!!!  And are a great Realtor, I am sure!!!!

Phil there is nothing wrong with being memorable. Are you saying they all walked away with broken limbs. Hmmm?

First, congrats to you for your 40th birthday, Leesa. By the way, you look quite young for 40.

Second, Phil--thanks for the laugh. I feel bad for the girlfriend because I have pins and plates in my ankle, but the way you said it was still funny.

By the way, shouldn't we all be working on our PI right now instead of cracking jokes?

I do want to try that myself, but I could never talk my wife into it. She thinks I am nuts. She maybe right.

After that you should have married the poor girl.  Wow, dating Phil is dangerous. You should come with your own warning label. LOL

Good job Phil. If they don't pass the "jumping out of an airplane test", no chance of surviving marriage? Good plan. LOL

Mary is right. What kind of test has your spouse passed?  That could be a great blog.  I think Phil would win this one.

That is one of the few tests that I have not asked the various Mrs. Andersons to take.  Frankly, it might have saved me a bunch of time.  If they bounced, we'd be good.  If they fell, well... flat,....I'd just keep looking... :)

No, no, Mary....  You've given me some great, new, ideas!  Some might say they are evil.  Or twisted.  But the end justifies the means, right?

I'm busy picking out the next victime right....err...correction,...the next LUCKY lady this weekend.... We'll see what she says....probably something like.....AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!   #$%^&* !!!!!!

And I owe it all to Mary!   Thank you!

Phil, I have already warned Cathy on the other thread. So she knows not to get into an airplane with you. I hear that evil laugh.
