palm users & windows vista togther anyone got it?

I just upgraded to a new PC and it has windows vista, trying to get my palm m515 and palm one treo 650 to hot sync.

The treo palm goes thru everything and says that it has lost computer connection between handheld and desk top. The cord has stayed connected to the computer and does everything it has always done but back up and store .

Has any one encountered this problem with trying to use vista & palm os togther?

I know mine will freeze up if I charge it to long, they recommend short charging times because of they battery types that has stopped all my freezing problems. I never charge over night any more unless it is almost empty on a charge. Give it a try couldn't hurt. Mary I gave up on trying to get both updated, but if I run across something I will pass it on .
