I am thinking about adding a 1-800 call capture service to my marketing budget. There are so many companies out there that I do not know where to start. Do you have experience with this kind of service? What was your experience? Who gave you the best service and who did not? I will appreciate your input.

I've been using Pro-quest for 3 years and love it. Here is the video and e-course that got me to sign up originally. Even if you don't sign up for the service the e-course can teach you how to use what ever 1-800 service you do decide to use.

Proquest gives you 999 extentions where others only give you 100. They also have a very good website to manage your extentions, recordings, settings, and calls. 800-959-3959

Mention my name (Pete Shrader) and they will discount the setup fee. (normally $300)

I've been using the Craig Proctor Hotline line (just one of them: http://www.automatedmarketingsolutions.com/hotlines) for a year now and love it.  Reaching the 100 extension limit hasn't been an issue for me <grin>.  I don't put out a brochure box with flyers on anything anymore, but made a sign rider with my "24 hour Infoline" number on it.  I can put the number on my web site too.  Even if someone hangs up, you can capture their phone number and call them back.

I have been investigating using a call capture system.  I am talking with the lender that I do the most business with and it looks like I am going to get him to foot the bill for it.  The benifit for him is that he gets a copy of all the leads that I get from the signs and advertising I do.  Talk to you favorite lender and see if they will foot the bill for it.  It's a win win situation for each of you!

Hal,

Good idea. Your lender can use some extensions for getting loan business and you can use some for real estate.

You could also go in with other agents in your office and share extensions and split the bill. Each person will have the same password to the website so make sure they are someone you trust.

You can rent extentions to others as well. However, if they don't know your password, you will have to setup and change extensions for them which becomes kind of a maintence headache.

For us we use the extensions in the 600's for mortgage and the 300's for buyers and the 400's for sellers, etc.

We found that print advertising (magazines, postcards) can have a long shelf life. We have gotten calls months after we stopped advertising an extension. With 900 extentions you don't have to reuse extensions over and over again and the extension numbers aren't too close togther.

Thru Realtor.org, We found there are company's with NAR discounts. One of them is GotVMail. Which is who we are looking into using for our phone solution/capturing. With us two working as a team, a great lender as part of our team, and two other soon to be Realtors, wanting to be part of our team we are in much need of an all around phone solution.

here is the link to the Realtor.org benefits on GotVmail
