also raising hand. But last year was first full year in biz as broker. It will only get better. Thanks for asking. And you?
Mike not my worst but it is tried hard to be. I guess if you didn't have a bad one occasionally the good ones would be so great! Keeps you grounded.
Every year is better than the last!
And this will go down in the history books as an EXCEPTIONAL year.
Last year was better moneywise. Education and people-wise, though, this year is much better.
Oh this is definitely the best! I've made lots of friends and learned SO much from them!
My business has been considerably down...it's certainly been one of the slowest years for me in that area....but in the others, it rocks!
Mike,
Your question:
How many people are having their best, or close to their best, year in real estate?
My answer:
42
and Mike--pleeeze don't delete my comment--lol
Cathy, what is wrong with me. I looked at that word "moneywise" and thought it said mayonaise.
Hellman's stock has increased exponentially over the past week or so, Mary. It's keeping the economy afloat.
mary, I understand completely!! I am rolling in "mayonaise" this year!! LOL
I'm pullin for miracle whip.
Shelly needs to write a book "101 uses for mayo". I'll buy it. Not buying the "I did it book" from OJ.
Well, number one rule is you cannot substitute with miracle whip. It just doesn't get the job done. Miracle whip in your hair is just smelly... ooops sorry, that was another blog.
a miracle whip!! lol
Sharron, wrong blog!! scroll down....
Here, have a Glade
Is that the glade that Radley has been licking? No thank you!!
OK this is the best year in the past MILLENNIUM. But that is my final answer.
If all on the books close, we will have surpassed our best ever by the end of this month. Yay!
I like sharron's answer of "42" - LOL
Sharron's answer is the best!!!! She's obviously in the know!!!
I will give you one more chance, Sharron, but anymore answers like that and I will be forced to moderate.
Pleeze don't moderate--just because it is YOUR blog.
*raising my hand* Each year is better than the last for me.
Through June, Best Ever.
Since August 1 Mortgage Meltdown news blitz... 6 Deals fell apart and none came back together... Worst August/September ever.
But it's warming up again this week. Received one offer, Doubled another, writing two next week. Phew... I can breathe again.
Best year in terms of earnings but I have to say I've had more fun in other years. This working all the time isn't for me. :)
Well I having a banner year, while most of Florida is down 30% I am up 50% with my marketing,
I have buyers lined up and take and talking numbers, there was a 4 day wait now I have it down to one day..for service.
Whew I am getting tired and just been diagnosed with carpel tunnel, and writing cramps I even gave myself a pat on my back...I am very flexible ya know.
Oops gotta run phone has been ringing of the hook.. see ya
Now serving #15
VanceMart
West coaster's Helmans is Best Foods.
I can't say this is our best year with sales, but it is not over yet. But this has been our best year as far as fun! We changed offices, which was a great move! We have learned so much so are not stagnating. And we discovered Relib. What more can I say?
Jana
down in terms of sales (2005 was the peak for most of us around here ... since then it's been a steep downhill for most. But definitelly a great year for learning, re-thinking, strategizing and building the business for the long run.
POSTIVELY THE BEST YEAR YET!
Raising hand too. Having a good year. It looks like it'll be close to my best. I've had several deals challenged by mortgage factors, but all were closed with minimal delay.
Better than last year at this time. Hellman's #1..............Hubby votes for Miracle Whip.. He is also having a good year in remodeling homes. New construction is slow but the remodeling is more than making up for it.
I have doubled my income this year, however my sales # has gone down and outgoing expense gone up.
Still.. much better year than last.
This is my best year so far. I ain't lying.
