Are Agent Rebates To Buyers Taxable?

I am no tax accountant but if I give a buyer a $1000 rebate who pays taxes on it? Years ago commissions paid were written off by the seller. Today buyers could argue that they apy the commissions. Does anyone know what the IRS thinks? Read More...
