I was waiting for the full realease Lonn.
I started to. I wanted to. I got distracted. (I know you don't know me, but I suffer from MAJOR adult ADD. I drive my family and friends insane!!)
I read through, I think, day two. Great stuff! :)
OK, teacher, I will go back and start again. I did put together some ideas for what I needed my keywords to be. I wrote it down somewhere....

I think you and I have the same home office, if I recall correctly. I have that adult ADD thing, too!
Being a new P2 member can be overwhelming. What I've realized over the past 24 hours or so, is that I need to focus on this very subject. I've put all of my print media in a pile. Lonn's ebook makes a lot more sense after reading Kim Collens' posts on the message boards. We can learn together! Kim kindly saved me the search and included a link on my previous post here on Relib. I highly recommend it!

I am in chapter 3 now. I started a standard P2A website that I am planning to dedicate only to people wanting to sell their homes and I am following the advice very closely and will keep you posted.
I also have WebCeo that thinks that all i do for better SEO is wrong........ maybe i don't know how to use their system!!!!!

I'm quite new at Point2, but noticed one of the SEO posts and made a mental note to go back and read them asap. I thank you for the reminder, as I had lost my Mental Notepad somewhere along the line. I think I'll try to print them all out tonight before they disappear. Hope they are still available.
I still have my little book of "Don't Do That No More", but the Mental Notepad is never around when I need it.

I am going to go back and print the articles and start over. I know myself well enough to know that I am a hands on learner and I now realize that the reason I lacked the stick-to-it-iveness I needed was because I need it in print where I can highlight it, make notes on it, draw doodles in the margins...so I will keep you posted as well. The problem I am having right now is making the decision about whether or not to niche WITHIN my current site (i.e. have niche specific URL's which point directly to a page within the site, but still remains under one umbrella) or to have multiple websites (my main site that I am using now and then develop some other niche sites). My other problem is that I now my niche is too broad. I am focusing on being your "family Realtor". Knowlege of communities, neighborhoods, little league programs, school districts, etc. with a secondary focus on family stages like newlyweds, moving up after having children, blending after remarriage, rebuilding after divorce, retiring...though I primarily like working with first time home buyers.
So, I KNOW I am too spread out in my focus but I am trying to hone in. I do have my notes on sticky's all over my desk about my specific target group where I am trying to paint a more specific picture for myself of what I want my niche market to be. I have finally realized that I can't and don't want to market to my entire city, so I have narrowed down my geographical area that I want to focus on.
Anyhow, what your e-book has done for me thus far is to get me to thinking. I have been researching SEO, looking at other people's website for inspiration of what to do and what NOT to do! You have definitely sparked the desire for me to figure out how to improve my site ranking. I already drive great traffic and leads in through the tools I utilize with P2. I am just excited to think about how much more I can accomplish when I have achieved first page natural search engine ranking for the term Oklahoma City real estate!! :) Much dancing around and singing loudly will occur that day! I achieved the elusive four star ranking within P2 this week. I am ranked #1 in my state, #152 in the country, and #218 in the world. Before your darned old e-book that was good enough for me! Now I want first page ranking on Google, Yahoo, MSN, etc!
I will keep you posted on my progress.
PS Oh as an aside, one thing I am working on is figuring out how to change my tags within my P2 site. Any tips! Am I overlooking the obvious? I know how to change my page name and the descriptors there. Is that it?
I started on the homework and still working on them. This was a great book. Also, I am working on the homework you have given me for the coaching. It is quite interesting and I am moving up in the ranks.

I just completed my homework on release #2. What an eye opener! I'm getting a much better understanding of this stuff. The keyword counter is wonderful. I found that I was actually becoming too detailed in my list because of how people are searching for property here. I need to simplify.

I can't find the link you were referring to above!! Unless it is the one about PPC, and I skimmed through but didn't notice any information on SEO there. Can you help me! :) I had worked through about day four, but I am going to start over again and do it all from print. It is too easy to lose focus and not catch all of the detail reading from the computer screen...at least for me. Anyhow, I will try and catch back up with you!

I have a question for you, please? I have done my own SEO and layout and I am happy with the resulting traffic of about 30-35 visitors per day of which I capture 2-3 per day or about 60+ per month for my drips!
My question is - the amount of traffic I have -is it possible to increase it in our particular market (Victoria,BC) to double or even triple? your comments please?

Scroll through my blog looking for free eBook related posts. It is not all in one place, or downloadable as a single document, but was released one chapter at a time as blog posts. That means that day 7 will be found before day 6, before dayt 5, etc. You can copy and paste each chapter from reliberation.com to a WORD doc if you like, putting chapters in the right order as you go.

Ole: Thanks for writing. If you are moving from somewhere beyond page 1 at google, to page 1, or moving from bottom of page 1 to top of page one, I assure you that you will get more traffic. Maybe even five fold or tenfold.
Last year, in March, I got something like 17 visitors from Google. This year, in March, I got something like 375! This is not to mention Yahoo and other search engines....
THAT'S HUGE!!!
After the traffic arrives at your page, it is up to the web site content and utility, style, and character to engage the visitor and turn them into a lead.

Lonn, I only did chapter 1. That's all I received by email from your site. The other blog has very high remarks for PPC. Do you use that?
Definitely NO to PPC, All Natural SEO is my style and what I teach in the eBook. To get the other chapters, just search Reliberation for SEO eBook. Cut and paste each chapter to a word doc.

I used some of the advice about SEO about a month ago and under Memphis Homes for Sale, I am now 7th on the first page of Google. I am currently working with 4 clients (1 a referral from P2) and of the other 3, 2 are pre-qualified with no home to sell : )! The other is getting pre-qualified with a local mortgage company I recommended. All in the $150 to $250k range. All for FREE!! My 5 kids think I am a tightwad for looking for free ideas for my real estate, but I told them with 5 kids I better be (lol).

Huh Lonn? Are you asking me if I started doing what your book says to do? If so then yes. I didn't read everything line by line as some of the stuff you wrote about, I already knew.
I needed to change my keywords and the text on the pages, meaning that those keywords you said need to be the first and last thing on the page. I didn't know that!!

I used that link to find keywords. I was actually surprised at some of the things people searched under. Wasn't something I ever would of searched for and things I thought people would of used, came back with no results!
I am working on it Lonn, and I am getting success. I was very frustrated because I couldn't get on page on in one of my major cities. I looked this morning and I am on page one! I have been focusing on the home page only but will now start to work on the interior pages. Your advice is good and sound and I picked up some really good tips.
