FSBO GENIUS ?

I have just read your page, FSBO Appointment for the first time and think it's GENIUS!!! 

I am going to get working on my FSBO'S today.

FsboKillers is not about killing people.  We kill myths about listing FSBO's

eg:  Myth:  FSBO sellers don't want Realtors.  

     FACT:  FSBO sellers don't understand market mechanics.

I am glad that FSBO's stand out and raise their hand and put up the come list me sign. It makes it easier to find high probability prospects.  You can run into more rejection cold calling or door knocking the general public than you will if you call these high probability prospects.

REMEMBER:  They want money.  They think, mistakenly, that selling without an agent will get them more money.  If you can educate them about this, gently, with love and compassion, they will list.

FSBO's are people too. Some of my best clients have been previous FSBO's for one reason or an other. But I do find that usually the FSBO's it's either the husband or wife that wants to FSBO the other wants to list with a realtor. So you have one person on your side already, just find out which one that is and its a lot easier to get the listing when there ready, usually after they've spent some advertising money. nd the best time to call is Sunday nite or Monday after their weekend open house.

I hardly see any FSBOs these days in our area. Pretty much everyone is listed. I and other realtors as well occassionally offer Exclusive agency listings giving the sellers a chance to still find their own buyers but it's not really happening. It's just to give the sellers a peace of mind.

Just picked up a former FSBO a few weeks ago.  Was a former neighbor of mine who I noticed had put a FSBO sign in their yard when I drove by.  Didn't have their phone number, but went home and sent them a postcard.  3 days later they called me and said "we're so glad you sent us your postcard...we we're looking for your phone number and business card so we could have you list our house but we couldn't find it".  I think many times FSBO's don't know what to do, so they just put a sign out hoping they'll either get a buyer or a Realtor who wants to help them....almost like a call for "Help".
