A breath of fresh air....aaaahhhhh....

Well, Mom was right.  If you are patient, you do get dessert.   Smile

A few years ago I sold a sweet, little bungalow that needed lots and lots of updating and attention to a young couple who were moving here from London.  GREAT people, those English.  You know...so polite (IMHO).

And last night, for the first time in two years, I'm back in the house and the owners have done EVERYTHING to it!  Refinished all the hardwood floors, added a bathroom, brand new kitchen with gas stove, tasteful paint, peaceful garden in back...   Plus, they keep it clean as a whistle...  It's in a great, eclectic area, walking distance from small, local shops to boot!

And they asked me to list it for a realistic price!

A Realtor's dream...

Turns out they are from Australia....  GREAT people, those Australians....

Phil

Treat people as you'd like to be treated and they'll come back for more.

Thank you all for your kind and funny words.  (I hope I did not sound like I was bragging above.  Not my intention at all!)

I was just so happy to get a dream listing.  Really pumps your ego up and pulls the "happy factor" out of the dreary winter mud!

BTW, we received multiple offers on the home within 24 hours and are now far over list price.  I think this was a good example of pricing a home properly.  It then attracts buyers, and if you are a little lucky, and the stars align for a few hours, you might get a little feeding frenzy...

Good luck to you all.

Phil
