Here's a pretty funny and TOTALLY fictitious depiction of a Realtor....

For those who take things too seriously, perhaps you should not watch this.  You've got to be able to laugh at yourself every now and then, right? Wink

Maybe I'm too serious and too focused on projecting the worthiness of our profession. Who was saying the other day about commercials, and what does that say about us? There is a classic example, going straight to our pockets or pocketbooks as you say in the States...Think about that one!

I expect to be taken seriously as a new REALTORr, and I'm fighting that image (be it true or false) every day, on top of living up to the REALTORr code, competing fairly with everyone else including Grapevine (do it yourselfers) who portray us exactly in that fashion, and they get the clients without the work. It just makes me cry! Enjoy my share of whatever you found funny!

Wow, Bruna. These videos are obvious parodies. Relax. Many professions are made fun of.

I've never logged onto youtube. Thanks for the inroduction, guys. I get the attraction.

Phil, thanks for the "tutorial" on conducting an open house. In the past, I have provided snacks, gifts and other accomodations for the open house attendees. No wonder I experienced so little success!  lol

That was a hoot!

Hi Sharron and Steve.

I agree!  I'd never tried any of that.   He had a priest blessing the house (when the "Realtor" was emptying the fridge)!!!

I thought it was great!

Phil, thanks for the video, funny and yet sad; Gregory, Glengarry is one of the classics, too bad Alex Baldwin is playing his character in real life lately.

I love that movie....BRUTAL!....

Sad about Alex in his "real" life.  He just sounds out of control.  I feel so sorry for his little girl!  YEARS of therapy needed for both, I'm sure.
