And these things do happen, but they are rare!   I believe you (we/I) need to keep our eyes open and inspect properties every now and then.  There's A LOT of profit to be made in properly maintained homes!

I totally agree with you.  But, scaring them was not my intent....  My investor client(s) found it a wake-up-call.  I've certainly seen worse!  And I'm sure you have!

We just need to be aware of what "could" happen, planning for the best and being prepare for less, just in case!
