E and O Insurance, anyone?.....

Out of curiosity and need, as our E&O policy is coming up for renewal;

Who would you recommend for Errors and Omissions Insurance?  Any special benefits associated with them?  Pros/Cons?  Cost?

Thank you!

Norman, I don't have it on me right now but I'll look it up and post my Pearl & Associates contact tomorrow. Since you are in Illinois just like me, I would assume you would be in the territory of the same insurance office  of theirs as I do.

Be sure to report over 50% of your listings and sales included a home inspection. It is a major item that will reduce your premiums. When I managed an office we were pushing close to 80% because often times the agents were offering it along with their listings so if a buyers agent wasn't promoting a warrantee, they got one anyway. Explain to the agents that it benefits them in the end when it comes time to pay their annual insurance. In most cases it also waives the ($5,000) deductable since it is one of the four or five items that must be met in order to do that.
