Green Printing for a better Earth and a healthier bottom-line!

I’m trying a new FREE software that works with your word processor and computer by evaluating what you are printing BEFORE you print it.

Per the Wall Street Journal:

Now, a start-up company in Portland, Ore., has come up with a software product that aims to solve the wasted-page problem. It’s called GreenPrint, and it automatically detects these unnecessary pages and eliminates them from your printouts. The company, GreenPrint Technologies, promises that its simple software not only will save you money on paper and ink, but also will help the environment by saving trees — thus, the name.

Time will tell, but I’m hoping for a green outcome!

Phil, If they had said 300 trees saved, I would have said BS. But, since they know for a fact that it was 323 trees saved - I BELIEVE!

Now, about that off shore drilling................

Phil, great idea.  Our office does the same with faxes, they go into a buffer and when you want to retrieve them you print them, if not you just simply delete.

I just realized I didn't put the little smile face ;-)

I'm only busting on you, Phil. You know if it saves us money and maybe the planet I'm all for it. Thanks for the tip.

Phil our office uses PlanetRE for all of our transactions.  We no longer have to make a second copy of all our docs for the office records.  I still feel like I am killing trees, but at least this saves a lot of paper as well as storage space.
