Orlando Real Estate News, Orlando Foreclosures
I'm always looking to glean advice from the people that have longevity and success in the real estate industry. What books do you feel every agent must read?
Have you ever read the book "Think and Grow Rich"? Someone suggested I read it, and I thought they were crazy. I did take their advice and read the book, and it changed my outlook tremendously. I highly recommend it.
The Greatest Salesman In The World. by Og Mandino who has sold 40 million copies of his books. Good author.

The Greatest Miracle In The World is also a wonderful inspirational book.
My first sales job was radio advertising. My sales manager gave me the book Psycho Cybernetics by Maxwell Maltz.
I figured out pretty quick that I belonged elsewhere, but that book I count among one of the ones that changed my life.
Think and Grow Rich, too. Napoleon Hill.
All the above are great books. I also recommend Jefferrey Gitomer's Little Red Books on Sales, connections and getting to yes. He gets right to the point and has some great advice. http://www.gitomer.com
A great quick read is "Who Moved My Cheese?" by Spencer Johnson, MD. It may take two hours to read and you will never forget it!
Oh yes, Gail! Forgot about that one. That's a really good one!
"21 Things I Wish My Broker Had Told Me" by Frank Cook was the first book my broker/uncle (25 plus years in RE) suggested I read and it was very good.
As Gail said, "Who Moved My Cheese?" was another favorite, it makes you smile and prepares you mentally for starting a new career.
