Ramblings, ravings and rantings on the Real Estate world
Here is a press article.
This could be HUGE.
I just posted the first listing on the Phoenix site!
Check out Kijiji.com
Yea! Thanks Jay and Francy. I just posted the first ad in homes for San Antonio. I gave you 5 stars.
Thanks Jay! I love freebies! ... BTW ... the Phoenix listing you posted ... are the real estate taxes for real? THAT LOW????? I don't think I've ever seen that kind of an amount unless it was a tiny tiny condo (a studio or maybe a one bedroom). Is that NORMAL?
Michaela - Yep, that is the correct tax amount. Our property taxes here are low. (Makes up for the ridiculous electric bills in the summer...)
The state sticks it to us in other ways of course -- income tax, car registrations, etc.
Thanks much, Jay. I quickly posted several of our listing and notified our sellers that their listing was/is the first in Jacksonville to be posted... it's always fun to be first and on the 'cutting edge' and you help us all stay there.
Tim
I would love to know how you pronounce this Kijiji ??
Jay.. Thanks a lot. Just posted. You more than anyone can imagine what an adventure that was. I appreciate your efforts on our behalf.

What's your point, Vance? Am I missing something there? I read the "Terms..." pretty thoroughly but didn't see any problem with agents posting their listings.
Just a word of caution, however, be sure to identify yourself as an agent according to your particular state laws and regs such as your brokerage, address, phone number or whatever is required (I err on the side of caution and include all - LOL)
Thanks Vance... it IS a holiday so I was afraid my brain was taking a vacation day and I was missing something important as a result... of course, it's getting close to Happy Hour and I will definitely not be at the top of my game during and after it. LOL
Cheers!
Thanks Jay
Happy 4th Tim and Susan, you brain is doing fine and you are on top of your game..

ROFL -- I'm going to quote you on that one Vance (I think I'll even print it out and put it on the refrigerator door)...
"Your brain is doing fine!"
Believe me, that is not what I hear from those who know me well. LOL I normally get, "What is wrong with you?!"
Thanks for the info Jay and/or Francy,
Always love free marketing tools. I've already posted 2 of our listings on the Columbus, OH site.
Happy 4th of July Everyone
Susan
Wow. Great news. I paid $150 for a listing on Ebay for my B&B for sale!
Vance -
I removed your comment with the link to your listing. It was so long it was whacking out the page and you couldn't read the comments.
Here it is...

Jay, you are a jack of all trades. I wonder what happens to these threads when they get all out of whack. Good job.
Thanx Jay for this great tip and all the others you post. I really appreciate them all!!
Jay/Francy,
Thanks for the 411. I've already posted a listing, and will let my broker and other agents in the office know about this freebie. Pat yourselves on the back for me.

Thank you Jay!
Dan - yeah, it's a dry heat. So is your kitchen oven and not many people chose to curl up in there to relax...
It was 116 yesterday (officially, my backyard thermometer showed 119). Today is forecast to be even hotter, meaning it's likely to top 120 at my place... Cooling off tomorrow to 112.
At 9:00am today it was 102. The news said is only felt like 97. Whatever. It's insane...
wouldn't it be nice if Point2 offered this site as part of the syndication along side with CL, Backpage and eBay we have now? ... including the nice html code? ... I guess I should go and mention it on the message board!
I sent them an email about it Michaela! It's been running in Canada for awhile now, so they are familiar with it. Wouldn't surprise me if they aren't working on it....
But someone else mentioning it sure couldn't hurt!
Jay, you're on top of things ... as always.
Thanks Jay ...we all are in need of these freebies. U da best!!!
Seems as though they don't accept HTML. Although, I was able to sort of copy and paste a flyer. Can't create hyperlinks...these days, here's hoping most know how to copy & paste addresses to browser.
Hope ur keepin' KQQL :)
