Gene - these young ladies are wonderful. They're training a WHOLE bunch of people down there. Real estate in Mexico is very different than it is here and I suspect the technology side is largely untapped. Could be a good business opportunity for P2.
LOL, what technology side? If they can get THAT going south of the border, I'll buy something in Puerto and live there half the year . . . it is really hard to get anything done there work-wise.
Of course the tequila, beaches, dolphins swimming in the Sea of Cortez don't lend to productivity either . . . call the Wah-bu-lance, here I go again . . .wahhhh!
Jay - Latin America is booming. I have quite a substantial holding in a wireless carrier called America Movil (AMX) which is a sister company to Telmex (TMX) and yearly gains have doubled my investments.
Here is some friday's news from the newswire:
Mexican stocks were taking the lead among Latin American equities, with strong showings by the bellwethers. Fixed-line Telmex (TMX) was soaring 3.5% to $39.72, while sister company wireless carrier America Movil (AMX) was increasing 2.5% to $65.92.

Don't feel too bad Candice and Jay you know it is even hotter down there right now! CA family here who will make that 10 hour drive! But we usually go over Spring Break and Candice if you want property I have a Broker for you, my cousin. I have never experienced anything like Rocky Point. As soon as you arrive there all your stress just melts away! Even before the beers! That is my reviving place. I have even thought of moving to AZ to be closer but then will need a summer home to escape the heat. Yes, we have beautiful beaches here too but so far Rocky Point beaches are not over crowded, the water is warm, the people who live there are still friendly, but not sure how long that will last with this area being MX new Cabo! Re/maxx and Coldwell banker are also down there. Now you all made me want to get in the car and I have to get to work instead.
