Mike started this, but he was trying to make a point. I thought I was right wing but you are just a step further. It is great to vent and I agree that the press is wrong but I don't think that the left hates America they are just misinformed and feel they are just as correct withtere stance as you and I. They depend on Gvernment to provide for them. If I or you were in that situation it might seem more real and the correct way. The answer is to help them understand more so than put them down. I never convinced anyone by telling them they were wrong.

I am a Bush supporter and proud of it. I do believe that some of the Democrats do not have the best interest of the Nation with their plans and retoric.

What is more interesting to argue about, politics or religion? It might be politics.

Seams to me even guys in charge of our political life are not sure what are they doing so far and I don't think realtors are qualified at all to talk about or at least not misusing real estate forums like this one. Please keep it for your self and stick to the real estate issues.

Your oppinion is noted but I afraid I will choose to ignore it. The welfare of this country has a lot to do with real estate. This forum is made up of people that vote and I don't see anything wrong with expressing my political oppinions. You have the right to ignore, not visit this thread or voice your oppinion. Where do you get off telling anyone what is correct for this forum? These are oppinions just like yours. What if I said we don't allow anyone to say they don't like our thread? Take your negative feed and move it to Al Gores web site on global warming!

I think I owe Joe an apology. I was much too hard on you and you have every right to criticize this or any other blog. I just want you to know that I feel very comfortable to speak for our active duty servicemen and woman. I am a Navy Combat Veteran with 9 years of service. During my time in service I served in Vietnam and was a river boat commander and operated with the first Seal Team ever deployed in a combat environment. On Christmas Eve 1965 I inserted a 4 man Seal Team in a tributary of the Soi Rap River south of Saigon. I extracted them the next morning and shortly after the extraction we came under fire. Have you ever been shot at? There are a lot of things that go through your mind. I was young than and felt I was invincible but had I had a son, daughter or wife maybe I would have had a different perception. I made it through that day but only to have my boat blow apart by rockets twice during the next 8 months. Every time I searched a junk or san pan I worried is this the day I die. Our soldiers in Iraq are better trained and better versed in the art of war than I was but they still have the same fears and worries that the first combatant in the Civil war had, they are afraid for their life. You may hate George Bush and all Republican but you have to realize that if they are willing to give up their life to make sure you can have yours, in the way you are accustom. Freedom to speak, freedom to act, freedom to decent, etc… You see no matter how you feel about a conflict that we have engaged in, your actions send a message to the people you have asked and they have accepted, to fight the fight and win the battle. If you and the people in power feel we are in the wrong fight than it is your obligation to stop it! However, you must also tell the rest of us how you plan to protect us. I have a lot of faith in the troops and I support their cause and successful conclusion. The reason I do is because I know first hand the horrors of war and I also know that my father and grandfather suffered those horrors so I could have what I have today.  I don’t speak German or Japanese and make a good living because of the sacrifices they made.  Our sons and daughters are making the same sacrifices today.  No they are not freeing the French; they are giving an opportunity to a lot of Iraq’s that will someday be a productive society that will change the Middle East. There is a lot of talk about a pull out. Let me ask you this: If we leave, what happens to the area? All of a sudden it is peace and harmony? No, it is the next training ground for the terrorist that might kill you or your son or daughter.  If I heard a plan that would save our troops their mission and could also safe guard America, do you honestly think I would be opposed? I love this country and all that it has offered me and my children. I also know enough about war that tells me that cut and run is not an option. If you are so convinced that your party has a solution, please ask them to convey it to all of us. I certainly want to here it because I don’t want another soldier or sailor to die or be injured. But if your party want to play politics, as I currently perceive, than shame on them.  I recently wrote Nancy Pelosi and stated that I think her plan is not workable and to tell the enemies just hang on till this date only helps the other side. Let me ask you this – There is a listing available and I am the best listing agent in the business. When it comes due for listing I am on vacation. You know when I will be back, do you wait until I get back or hit it while I am gone. What if your life depended on it?  That is what you face in the field. You ask why are they doing that. The moral of our troops is important. I know that most Americans would never do anything to turn that feeling negative however support of a defunding or talk of it only sends one message. Please give our troops the support they deserve.
