We in the Real Estate Industry have used:  newspapers, open houses, newsletters, real estate magazines, the internet, and email.  Now we've got Blogging!  What is a Blog?  A website that you can quickly post your area of expertise, interests, or simply; interact with other individuals.

There are many places for us to Blog; Active Rain, Bloodhound Blog, and now here at RE liberation

Some in our industry have not caught on to this awesome "BlogXplosion".  I am now calling you to action.  Yes you reading this.  I need your insight to help others understand what we are experiencing in our industry.  Your input could help give a better insight to what we have come to enjoy.

I will ask you few questions:

1.  Has Blogging Changed the way you do your Real Estate Business, and how?

2.  Has your exposure in your respective markets changed because of your Blog, and how?

Blogging can be beneficial to our respective industry.  The social interaction gives us an opportunity to learn more about our business from individuals in different states, and around the world.

Can your Blog change your business?

I am currently reading the book "Realty Blogging" and a good part of its premise is that blogging can be as or more effective than your actual website.

Blogs get crawled faster and you have the potential of really being creative with niche marketing.

I will post more on the subject when I get further into the material.

Happy blogging.

Laurie,

Thank you for your comment.  I've heard "Realty Blogging" is an excellent book, but I'm in the middle of another book now.  Please post your comments during or after your review.  I am sure they will help someone.

I've also seen an increase in the time my blog has been crawled and it has jumped higher in the search engines faster than my website.  I believe its about content you add that makes it work better for you.

Thank you again.
