Digital Meltdown!

I am having a Digital meltdown! Over 90% of my business comes from my website, I mostly work with buyers who are re-locating to the Vancouver, Washington area. The problem I am having is managing the files for my transactions. Most of my purchase and sale agreements are transmitted via email as PDF documents and scanned tiff files (which I convert to PDF) . All the different iterations during the offer and counter offers process become very cumbersome to deal with and I would love some suggestions from anyone out there who has found a reasonably priced (under $150 and can be used on 2 computers) document management system.

I used PaperPort 9 a few years ago but I think it is difficult to visualize individual files and file structure. I have not tried PaperPort Pro 11 but it is expensive $199.00, they only allow installation on one computer.

Any suggestions would be welcome!

We use "ZpiForms" for our contracts a web based system. They offer "Relay" a webbases system that runs $149 but can be used from ANY computer.  Here is a link http://www.zipform.com/products/zipformonline/index.asp

I have not used it, but thought it might work for you.

We also use "Docusign" to get digital signatures on our paperwork

Hope it helps!

I do it the old fashioned way, scanning all documents to pdf's and making client folders and subfolders.  Having long descriptive file names

seems to do the trick.  After closing I transfer all files including duplicates and emails to dvd.

good luck, erika
