Paula Deen!</title><link>http://www.reliberation.com/blogs/savannahshometeam/archive/2008/03/06/who-wouldn-t-you-want-to-pick-their-neighbor-paula-deen.aspx</link><pubDate>Thu, 06 Mar 2008 16:27:00 GMT</pubDate><guid isPermaLink="false">fb75467e-c130-42a1-b04d-539b3211778d:58637</guid><dc:creator>Chris &amp; Katie Wigley</dc:creator><slash:comments>7</slash:comments><comments>http://www.reliberation.com/blogs/savannahshometeam/comments/58637.aspx</comments><wfw:commentRss>http://www.reliberation.com/blogs/savannahshometeam/commentrss.aspx?PostID=58637</wfw:commentRss><description>&lt;P&gt;Katie and I own the home next door to Paula Deen's new home that she is building here in Savannah.&amp;nbsp; Our home is currently on the market for sale.&amp;nbsp; Thinking Paula may be interested in the opportunity of picking her neighbor I contacted her people about this and was really surprised to find that Paula did not want the chance to pick her neighbor.&amp;nbsp; I tried to put myself in Paula's shoes and I honestly thought I would love the chance to get a close friend or family member next door to my new home with the consideration that&amp;nbsp;money is not an object, but I guess my assumption was wrong.&amp;nbsp; I must admit the Paula is a great lady and her new homes property is so large that it wouldn't be a quick short walk to visit you neighbor next door if she wanted to.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;img src="http://www.reliberation.com/aggbug.aspx?PostID=58637" width="1" height="1"&gt;</description></item><item><title>Are we reinventing the wheel?</title><link>http://www.reliberation.com/blogs/savannahshometeam/archive/2008/03/05/are-we-reinventing-the-wheel.aspx</link><pubDate>Thu, 06 Mar 2008 04:04:00 GMT</pubDate><guid isPermaLink="false">fb75467e-c130-42a1-b04d-539b3211778d:58623</guid><dc:creator>Chris &amp; Katie Wigley</dc:creator><slash:comments>7</slash:comments><comments>http://www.reliberation.com/blogs/savannahshometeam/comments/58623.aspx</comments><wfw:commentRss>http://www.reliberation.com/blogs/savannahshometeam/commentrss.aspx?PostID=58623</wfw:commentRss><description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN class=mceItemHidden&gt;My wife and I are both Realtors in Savannah Ga and are newbies as we have just had our licenses for two years now.&amp;nbsp; We are full time agents.&amp;nbsp; Through the process of attempting to grow our business I must admit that it is frustrating that I have not been able to put my finger on a really strong marketing plan.&amp;nbsp; For example we pass out thousands of &lt;SPAN class=mceItemHiddenSpellWord&gt;flyers&lt;/SPAN&gt; and one month we may get a decent response to the &lt;SPAN class=mceItemHiddenSpellWord&gt;flyers&lt;/SPAN&gt; and then the next 3 or 4&amp;nbsp;months we send out &lt;SPAN class=mceItemHiddenSpellWord&gt;flyers&lt;/SPAN&gt; we get nothing.&amp;nbsp; I experience the same inconsistencies with magazine advertising and also mass emails.&amp;nbsp; I know that every brilliant Idea that I have been coming up with probably has been already done and done again by others before me, so in that sense I guess I am reinventing the wheel.&amp;nbsp; To ad to the confusion it seems as if every marketing idea that I see advertised seems to be a great idea, but why are all the other top agents not&amp;nbsp;using them.&amp;nbsp; From what I can see, all top producers that I see are working significantly from previous clients.&amp;nbsp; Is it that we have not been around long enough to get this benefit or is it that I cannot see the marketing trees for the marketing forest so to say?&amp;nbsp; We will keep plugging away and to be honest business is good, but its not great.&amp;nbsp; I WANT GREAT!!&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;img src="http://www.reliberation.com/aggbug.aspx?PostID=58623" width="1" height="1"&gt;</description></item></channel></rss>
