"Success is when you are happy to go to work in the morning and happy to come back in the evening, and you are very welcome and liked in both places."

Olga, as quoted by Scott W. Ventrella in his book, Me, Inc: How to Master the Business of Being You.

I think for me success is raising my kids to respect me and truly value my opinion. I want my kids to be as close to me as I am with my parents. Me and my dad talk everyday! He truly is my best friend and when I need advice, I call him. I am really hoping my kids value you me as much as I do my parents. Plus, I'll need fishing partners when they get older.

Well,

Waking up above ground every morning is very successful, it means you are off to a good start.

Phil,

You know it! Sport and Sport and Sport - I thought baseball would be cheap! Ball, Bat, Glove. Now you need helmet, pads, batting gloves, insurance for the league it just goes on and on. Then they ask you to be coach and OH yeah your uniform is extra! Come on!

I may have to sell my wallet to pay for some of this stuff!

And as for lifting stuff, I already got them doing that - LOL (Bring me the remote, the phone and drinks out of the fridge) Ahhh well trained kids - ROFL (Don't say it Mary - I already know what you are thinking)

I gave my husband a framed print once as he has had his own business for years (manufacturing). It says "Success is the intelligent use of mistakes".

Which I have found very true over the years.

Todd, give it up, you just think you know what I am thinking. And I don't think you do, know what I am thinking, or think. lol huh?

Mary,

I like that definition!  Especially since I have made a lot of mistakes that I can draw upon!

Sharron, sometimes the mistakes we make help because we learn what NOT to do and that is as important as knowing what to do.

If you see Phil, let him know I stayed focus on this one!! He's picking on me.
