Sharron, this is going to take some indepth investigation. I am going to have to schedule some down time in a forest and I am not sure we have any forests around here, all I can see is trees. lol. Hey, I thought of a new saying "can't see the forest for the trees", nope, sounds familiar.

I have been surprised at how many comments that I have received on some of my posts. On posts that have some interest to the general public, I have received quite a few views, but no comments. On the open house and simple blog posts, I have not really received any. I have done posts on interest rates, buyer mistakes, technology and the real estate agent, blah blah blah. Anyway, if it gets the consumers attention, they will read it. Don't make it your "personal journal" thinking that no one will read it. Find out what interests your part of the world and write on that.

I'll agree that blogs may currently hold a fad status.

But to say, "they don't really do anything"???

Blogs have the potential to:  build internet presence, help with main site SEO, provide an avenue for learning and teaching, provide potential customers with a way to get to know you, and generate leads.
