I agree with you 100% I don't have time to read all the blogs plus

answer the blogs and write blogs of my own.  I thought the winning

blog would be the one that gave the best advice or tips.

$50 isn't much and I would rather be selling real estate then looking at all this blogs....some of them are so long I go to sleep.

Ginny, that's right! we should be making money selling real estate, not by writing blogs. The $50 should be just for fun ... a symbolic award for those who really enrich Relib. At least that's my opinion.

The "rules" have not been made very clear. I've had a few "I'd give ya the $50!" comments, but no one's rated the post. I don't know if that matters (nor to be honest, do I really care. I post to help, and get stuff out of my head before my brain explodes.)

I suspect the "rules" may become more clear over the coming days as we see what posts get selected.

The time commitment to blogging -- wherever that may be -- is not insignificant. But no one can survive on $50/day. However, we might all *learn* something worth *far* more than $50. Mayhap this contest will motivate some hidden lurker, who also has a full brain, to come out and share vast wealths of knowledge. Seriously!

EXACTLY!!  I don't think any of us are going to quit our day job for $50. BUt a little healthy competition can be fun, and good for the relib community.

Jay, you are right about the hidden lurkers ... a lot of them came out of their closets the last few days I noticed and if this contest brings out even more, that's wonderful! We are a healthy community and as such we need to grow!

I think it is nice of them to offer $50 bucks.  It's is fun not sure about you guys but I don't frown at $50 bucks.  I am getting cheap in my old age.

Shellz - I'm tacking on another 5 stars just because you are in charge of our RR Virtual Office.

If I got $50, I certainly wouldn't burn it, but it's certainly not worth my time to think up a blog that's so prolific and inspiring as to win over all of my friends and influence people.  I post when I have a thought...that thought may be a question, an answer, a solution or a problem.  It is what it is - I'm not in it for spiders or glory or money.

I gave 5 stars too, 'cause I'm in a generous mood, I love Shelly and it's a good conversation.

I posted to that asking if it was a recruiting campaign. They posted that to sell their company not deliver any message and if they actually interviewed someone that way they really missed the boat.

It is 10:50 pm pacific time and I just got home 20 mins ago!  Got to stop working these late nights but we have been scrambling to find our clients a replacement property.  So have had no time for blogging or seeing what the contest is about.  Only thing I can add is there are 31 days in Aug.  and it will be interesting to see which blogs are the winners.  

How in the heck is everyone?  I have missed you.

WOW! I justed posted that comment and didn't have to wait 1-second or refresh the screen and it appeared immediately! P2 must have done some updating to adding posts. Anybody else notice that?

I think they probably just restarted the server, clearing out the cache que...  

Ordinarily it takes a few seconds for a post to get 'handled' by a server farm that is handling thousands of web sites and blogs all at once.

However, immediately after a server restart, or an slow times, with nothing ahead of you, on any P2 web site, or relib board, anywhere in the world, your comment gets right through almost immediately!
